    Man City 2-1 Club Bruges

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

Manchester City have been superb this half.

They have toyed with the Club Bruges defence and have so many players, like Jack Grealish, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva, who can suck their opponents in and then move the ball so quickly to catch them out.

I think the visitors were just tired when Riyad Mahrez misplaced his cross and temporarily switched off.

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Manchester City defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

A long way from decent defending but credit to Riyad Mahrez for getting in at the back post it was a great ball by Joao Cancelo.

They were very lucky though, Bruges should've probably scored down the other end just before that.

  11. CLOSE!published at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2021

    Liverpool 2-0 Atletico Madrid

Hahaha, this game gets even more ridiculous.

Kostas Tsimikas curls it in and Diogo Jota misses it altogether with his head and somehow shoulders it wide?

He literally poked it wide with his shoulder.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2021

    Liverpool 2-0 Atletico Madrid

Joao Felix has got a yellow card now too for a late tackle on Fabinho in the build-up to that Mohamed Salah chance.

I can't keep up here. Need to start ticking off names!

GOAL - Man City 2-1 Club Brugespublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2021

    Riyad Mahrez (54 mins)

Riyad Mahrez plays a terrible cross to nobody in particular.

But Club Bruges don't follow the ball out and an unmarked Joao Cancelo puts the ball back in the box for Mahrez to head home.

    City lead.

  14. CLOSE!published at 52 mins

    Liverpool 2-0 Atletico Madrid

Mohamed Salah is away down the right!

He gets all the way into the six-yard area and is denied from close range.

It bobbles out, Diogo Jota can't get the rebound and from the resulting corner Joel Matip smacks it inches wide of the left post!

  15. Postpublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2021

    Man City 1-1 Club Bruges

Club Bruges should probably be ahead. Charles de Ketelaere brilliantly controls a long ball forward but the finish doesn't match the first touch and it's wide.

  16. Postpublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2021

    Man City 1-1 Club Bruges

A good surging run from Bernardo Silva down the right into the box but he runs it just out of play before crossing.
