Harish; PSG bottling this is just sad. They are a better team and would have given Bayern, Liverpool, City, Chelsea, a harder time than Real Madrid can possibly imagine.

'It's the first time I've seen Mauricio Pochettino sit down. He's been in his technical area the whole game, they are getting beat and he sits down. It's a mentality thing.

  7. CLOSE!published at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2022

Lovely footwork by Luka Modric as he works some space for himself on the edge of the area before hitting a dipping effort just over the bar.

    Into the final minute.

A few late changes from Sporting, who will be happy to run the clock down you think. A draw away from home against last season's European finalists? Not a bad result all things considered. The tie was, of course, over and done with in Portugal.

Still time for City to get a goal. Or Sporting. Raheem Sterling carries it through the middle but there's a handball when it reaches James McAtee. He's been bright since coming on.
