I've been really impressed with Manuel Ugarte tonight, with regards to his play and his screening of the back line for Sporting. He's been really good when Sporting win the ball back, at winning fouls and playing forward passes. Really clever midfielder.

Mbappe must have given Eder Militao three yards. But the burst, the acceleration...it was a brilliant covering tackle from David Alaba.

Ooft. An immediate impact from Marcus Edwards. He drives at Oleksandr Zinchenko, beats him with pace and a sharp turn of acceleration but he scuffs the shot. It's comfortable for Ederson in the end.

Kylian Mbappe is just flowing with confidence and he looks certain to score as he gets in-between two defenders before David Alaba recovers with a brilliant last-ditch tackle.

Sporting have a rare chance a few moments later but Bruno Tabata's effort takes a deflection before Ederson gathers it in. That counts as a shot on target though!

The last time PSG lost an away match in the Champions League when leading at half-time was in March 2001 v Deportivo (lost 3-4). In 17 matches since in that situation they've won 14 and drawn three.

PSG are happy to sit in now and let Real Madrid have the ball and come at them.
