Villarreal are in a tight, narrow 4-4-2 block and the ball keeps being moved wide by Bayern where the space is more abundant. Crosses are coming in from Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sane almost every minute now.

Sane is rapid up and down the flank. That lad could catch pigeons.

Timo Werner has been lively so far. He looks like he has got himself in down the left but sees his shot blocked.

Remember also that Real are no pushover. Even when things go against them. They conceded first to PSG but still managed to see off the French champions.

Gooner Thoughts: Mason Mount is really, really good. I think he’s still underrated, or certainly talked about less lyrically (outside Chelsea) than some other English players. 4th highest goal involvements in PL.
