This is a pretty tame end so far to West Ham's first ever appearance in a Europa League group, but 13 points from their first five games had got the job done with a match to spare.
David Moyes' side will soon be able to forget about this tournament for three months and focus on a Premier League campaign that sees them fourth and bidding to secure their highest top-flight finish since they came third in 1985-86. They also have a Carabao Cup quarter-final at Tottenham to look forward to later this month.
But with Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Porto among those dropping down into the competition from the Champions League, there could still be some huge and memorable nights ahead for the Hammers in this competition in the spring of 2022.
