What a chance? Is that Feyenoord's last?

Fredrik Aursnes' ball in is flicked on by Cyriel Dessers but Bryan Linssen completely misses the ball from six yards out.

    Roma 1-0 Feyenoord

Roma getting closer to a first major European trophy, but the engraver might have been able to start work on the trophy if that goes in.

Jordan Vertout feeds the ball Lorenzo Pellegrini but the Roma captain sees his shot well saved by Justin Bijlow. In fairness, the Feyenoord keeper would have been expected to save that one given the angle was in his favour.

Some fabulous approach stuff from Feyenoord but occasionally someone needs to take responsibility and have a shot. Saying that, they're incredibly fortunate not to be down to ten men, and facing the infamous Mourinho bus/coach/train... Good luck to them!

Luis Sinisterra has a pop from the left for Feyenoord but that's straight at Roma keeper Rui Patricio.

    Roma 1-0 Feyenoord

Cyriel Dessers has scored 10 goals for Feyenoord in this competition this season but so far he has not looked like adding to that tally.

He gets in down the right and cuts back on his left peg but sees Chris Smalling block for Roma.

A good bit of defending but a slight delay before shooting definitely helped the former Manchester United and Fulham defender out.

Another Feyenoord attack that promises so much comes to nought as the cut back from the left is picked off by Jordan Veretout.

    Roma 1-0 Feyenoord

The final Feyenoord pass is sadly lacking here. They are really working Roma down both flanks but haven't found the decisive pass and finish.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 74 mins

    Roma 1-0 Feyenoord

Reiss Nelson's night is over for Feyenoord. He is replaced by the vastly experienced Bryan Linssen. Meanwhile, Gernot Trauner makes way for Norwegian international Marcus Pedersen.

What. A. Save. Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow is partially unsighted but gets down to repel Jordan Veretout's low drive.

    Roma 1-0 Feyenoord

Leonardo Spinazzola was one of Italy's best performers at Euro 2020, with his driving runs down the left and he immediately shows more of the same to win a corner for Roma.

    Roma 1-0 Feyenoord

A slight sight of goal for Tammy Abraham, who gets in down the right of the Feyenoord penalty area but scoops his shot, unbalanced, over the bar.
