He cuts back inside and curls in a cross, but it is straight into the arms of Barnsley keeper Bradley Collins.

Changes for QPR after that second for the Tykes.

QPR have struggled to get into the Barnsley half over the past 10 minutes.

The Tykes were known for their high pressing and direct play under Valerien Ismael, and that style has continued under Markus Schopp.

But the south Yorkshire club have been passing the ball a bit more than last season.

Eventually Rangers get the ball forward and Liam Kitching heads a cross behind for the hosts' first corner of the game.

Another chance for Barnsley, as Cauley Woodrow sends a shot bobbling to the left of the QPR goal.

The Tykes striker things he should have had a corner, and he might have a point.

The ball looked like it took a nick - either off a defender or the fingertips of R's keeper Seny Dieng.

Barnsley continue pressing forward and an inswinging comer from the left causes a bit of confusion in the QPR defence.

Moments later Liam Kitching gets on the end of Callum Brittain's right-wing cross at the near post and flashes a header just wide.

That was a really good chance for the centre-back to make it 2-0.

Great play by Barnsley as their front three combine nicely.

Clarke Oduor has a shot which he drags wide from just outside the area, but it got a touch off a defender.

The corner comes to nothing, again. This one is headed away at the near post.

But the offside flag is up against Woodrow.

Both sides are looking to pass the ball through the lines, and there have been some decent moves so far.

Barnsley get a free-kick inside the centre-circle after a foul by Andre Dozzell but can't work anything from the set piece.

The delivery is to the edge of the box and flicked on, but goes behind for a goal kick before a Tykes player can get in a cross.

After most of the players take a knee, Barnsley get the action under way at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
