    Derby 1-0 Nott'm Forest

Derby skipper Tom Lawrence draws a low save from Brice Samba in the Forest goal and Craig Forsyth's rebound is blocked away to safety.

Forest gave Lawrence way too much time and space to get his shot off there.

    Derby 1-0 Nott'm Forest

Derby are on top here and another goal now would leave Forest with a mountain to climb.

A Tom Lawrence free-kick is flicked behind for a corner and the subsequent set-piece causes more concern in the Reds box.

    Cardiff 0-1 Bristol City

    Michael Pearlman

Bristol City lead the Severnside derby after a real mix up in the Cardiff City defence.

Goalkeeper Dillion Phillips and defender Aden Flint both left the ball for the other one to clear and Andreas Weimann took full advantage, exploiting the space and drilling a shot across Phillips into the bottom corner.

The Robins fans are in fine voice now.

The omens are with them as well.

The away side has won each of the last four league meetings between Cardiff and Bristol City, with each victory coming with a clean sheet.

    Derby 1-0 Nott'm Forest

To put the experience of Derby's centre-back pairing into some context, they're both older than their manager.

Phil Jagielka, 39, made his debut in the 1999-2000 season and Curtis Davies, 36, has been around the block several times as well.

They've both made errors in possession in the early minutes but, thankfully for the hosts, both went unpunished.

Lyle Taylor gets free of the duo in the area but his header is straight at Kelle Roos in the home goal.

    Andreas Weimann (21 mins)

Austrian winger Andreas Weimann scores his third of the season to put the Robins ahead!

Zak Vyner's ball over the top finds the ex-Villa man and it looks like the ball has just got away from him but he shows great pace to reach it and lash it across Dillon Phillips.

A predatory finish and the away fans are loving it!

Ryan Giles just went clean through from Kieffer Moore's flick-on, but Bristol City are incredibly grateful for some outstanding defending!

Giles seemed to have all the time in the world to pick his spot, but Nathan Baker got back to deny him with a superb sliding tackle.

A huge contribution from the recalled defender.

Right, what have Forest got now then?

They've lost all four of their league games so far this season but they'd probably shaded the opening exchanges of this before that well-taken Tom Lawrence strike.

Lawrence sends a free-kick into the wall from a good position as the hosts look to turn the screw.

    Cardiff 0-0 Bristol City

A straight ball through the middle sees Bristol City's defence go awol but Daniel Bentley just reacts quickly enough to rush out and reach the ball before Ryan Giles can get a toe to it.

The hosts are on top here with the noisy home faithful pushing them forwards.

Joe Ralls also tried his luck from just outside the box but it curled wide.

    LIFT OFF!

Derby break out quickly from defence and a long ball forward is perfectly into the path of skipper Tom Lawrence and he smashes the bouncing ball home from 18 yards out.

    Cardiff 0-0 Bristol City

    Michael Pearlman
BBC Sport Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium

It's football, not headerball, but Cardiff City have definitely been playing to their strengths so far this season.

The Bluebirds have scored eight goals in the Championship and every single one of those goals has come via a header.

Will today be the day they score via a shot? Bristol City will be hoping not.

    Derby 0-0 Nott'm Forest

    WOW.

Derby centre-back Phil Jagielka has an absolute nightmare as his backpass plays Lyle Taylor in on goal but, with the keeper miles off his line, Taylor tries to go for it first time from about 35 yards and it just dribbles into Kelle Roos' hands.

    Massive chance blown.

    Derby 0-0 Nott'm Forest

Bit of a stoppage here as Philip Zinckernagel of Nottingham Forest needs some treatment after Craig Forsyth stood on him in a... delicate place after an aerial challenge.

Hard to say if there was any intent but Zinckernagel certainly felt it and he's not happy.

    Cardiff 0-0 Bristol City

Cardiff are looking to get on the offensive early and the first shot on goal is a long-distance effort from ex-Robin Marlon Pack, which is wide of the target.

Not too much else to report in the opening five minutes.

Forest win an early corner after Derby cough up possession cheaply on the halfway line.

The ball ends up coming to Joao Carvalho but his shot from the edge of the area drifts well wide.

As you would have expected it's a fast start at Pride Park.
