Stranraer reached the League One play-offs last year and head into the new season managed by former Hearts midfielder Jamie Hamill.

Stevie Farrell left the club to take charge of League One Dumbarton, leaving Hamill - in his first job as a manager - with the task of earning Stranraer promotion back to League One.

Losing Ruari Paton to Queen of the South is also a big miss for Stranraer, who will need to adapt quickly to mount a promotion push.
