Emile Smith Rowe gets the wrong side of Shane Duffy in the Brighton half and is fouled. Finally, a chance for Arsenal to pose some questions to the home defence.

Leandro Trossard - again in space - carries the ball forward and then fires over from range. All it took was a header won by Marc Cucurella to release him. Too easy.

Albion look so much more composed on the ball, that much more confident of what they are trying to do than Arsenal.

They are finding space and picking out players with a bit too much ease for Mikel Arteta's liking.

Soon after Neal Maupoy acrobatically hits a shot across goal and wide.

The ball is crossed into the mixer and met by Dan Burn, but he gets his header all wrong, sending it over the bar. Should have scored.

Albion unlock Arsenal down the right, with Neal Maupay's chipped ball over the top fired across goal by Adam Lallana and deflected over by Ben White, getting his boot in just ahead of Leandro Trossard.

Brighton keep coming. Neal Maupay fires over from the edge of the box, though.

Brighton win another corner that causes a bit of menace. Bern White heads the initial delivery away but Leandro Trossard collects for a shot that is blocked.

Bukayo Saka is the out ball for Arsenal. He has Dan Burn's number.

And just like that, the Gunners go close to the opener. Bukayo Saka beats Dan Burn down the right and crosses for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to rise above his marker for a looping header that grazes the post before Albion clear.

Norwich City

Norwich manager Daniel Farke speaking to Match of the Day: "It was a difficult game and a good result for us. A point at Turf Moor is always valuable. We have had a hard first six games, a tough pre-season and some of our important players arrived after the start with a lot of rotation. To show resilience with compact defending, it is quite a good result.

"There were periods where we could have been better, but compliments to our young squad. It is always a big battle here, you cannot avoid the long balls and set pieces. We had good situations to win the game, and all in all it is a good point.

"For a young side it is never easy after six losses. You have to take step after step and this was the first step."

On the imminent break for international games: "After a good result and performance you want to build on it, but we have time to settle and recover a bit, hopefully we get key players back not injured, there will only be a few players to work with so we have to try to find a good mix."

Matty AFC: Auba feels undroppable because even out of form he's our most reliable finisher. But his touch and hold up play are shocking in comparison to Lacazette. I'd like to see Laca given some more game time with the rest of this first XI.

Arsenal's threat has diminished considerably in the last 10 minutes. They're offering nothing.
