Brighton corner. The home side looking lively now.

This rain is doing Graham Potter's hair no favours. That beard will be getting be heavier by the second too.

No such worries for Mikel Arteta and his Lego barnet.

Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche speaking to Match of the Day: "It was a strong performance again, I keep saying that. The consistency is important but we have to find that cutting edge in the box. We had two or three moments and maybe you need a ref’s decision, that would be nice but generally it was another strong performance."

On referee Kevin Friend: "I thought he had an indifferent game, particularly when Vydra got a push in the back, we have seen them given against us and not for us, the record of penalties for us is horrendous.

"It’s a clean sheet, a lot of the performance is right but you have to find that edge. We will find it, our history suggests it, we have four centre forwards when they are fit and we have Maxwell coming back. We will find our way as we often do.

"We stayed calm, we have been a bit edgy you. You have to keep creating moments and one will come our way. I am always positive. We have had a tough start, we are not a million miles away."

Brighton again!

Leandro Trossard is in space and found, with space to run into down the right. He gets into the box, is held up but still gets a shot away that flies past the far post.

Brighton's first real threat comes down the right through Marc Cucurella, who plays a one-two to find space and then fires a low cross into the corridor of uncertainty. An Arsenal player sticks out a boot to concede a corner, which is dealt with initially before a shot comes back in and wide.

Chelsea

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "It was deserved but it was a long way to go [to get it]. I liked the game, it was very entertaining with two intense sides. I liked the energy and the attitude. In the end we finally got the result right which is always the challenge and the target. It was a late one but a deserved one."

On Timo Werner's disallowed goal which was ruled out by VAR due to an earlier foul by Cesar Azpilicueta: "I think there was enough time for them [Southampton] to reset. Why go back after two or three crosses for this kind of challenge? I cannot believe this makes sense to use VAR like this."

On it being 20 seconds between the challenge and the goal: "Is it really about time or is it about situations? It's more about where it is, do you have a chance, can you re-group? I [made] no connection from this challenge to the goal. I thought they were checking Romelu's header from when they landed.

"The connection for me was not clear enough that from the challenge we get the possibility to score. The referee must have the freedom to let it go if he decides to have a fair, physical game. This is one of the challenges and I understood before the season it would be like this so I was very surprised and expressed my anger."

Emile Smith Rowe is such a busy, talented nuisance of a footballer. Always moving, always looking for space and possession.

Ben White gives the ball away. He is fortunate that Marc Cucurella can't make anything of the possession.

The Gunners continue to look the more menacing. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is found on the left side of the box but he doesn't release the ball quickly enough and Brighton can clear.

Brighton try to get Pascal Gross away down the right but Shane Duffy's pass has a bit too much on it. Goal kick.

Both sets of fans getting some singing done early. Anything to stay warm.

Chelsea

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "For today we are top of the league and tomorrow there are still games.

"After two defeats we had to be careful that we didn't start being too sad or too worried because there was a chance to be on 16 points.

"It was important to have a better performance than the last two games. We sharpened our mindset so that we are not afraid to lose. It was nice to play the way we did and get a deserved win."

On the disallowed goal: "I was very angry because I could never believe this could happen in the Premier League where you would go back to a 50/50 that wasn't even in close connection to the goal.

"I understood before the season that we didn't want soft touches, that we wanted a contact game.

"We are here today in the middle of London in the rain in an intense game but the ref disallowed the goal."

On James Ward-Prowse's red card: "I did not even see it properly but it looked heavy and it was not necessary to take that kind of risk."

Kieran Tierney gets down the left and crosses but Shane Duffy is there to head away. Duffy has had a cracking start to the season as the man chosen to replace Ben White, who lines up for the Seagulls opponents today.

Arsenal have started quite brightly in the gloom. They're moving the ball quickly and precisely.

Wolves

Wolves boss Bruno Lage, speaking to BBC MOTD: "The players need to understand what we want and believe in our ideas. The support from the stands was amazing.

"It's three more points. This is the hardest competition. We are happy in the moment but we need to continue.

"We're happy to have four wingers because they can bring us different solutions.

"Raul Jimenez didn't score but he is very important for us, especially what he did with the second goal. What he did was very good."

Leandro Trossard is helped back to his feet but he doesn't look happy. He's going to try and continue, though. One to watch.

Watford

Watford manager Xisco Munoz: "I'm disappointed with our performance. We continued with the same mistakes. If we want to win games in the Premier League we need more consistency and better performances.

"We need to work more, more and more. We know how important it is to get points. We need to work very hard for the points.

"Today our attack was poor, in the second half our defence was better. We need to work together but today the first 45 minutes was not our best performance."

Leandro Trossard is down. Looks like he slipped and did some damage to his ankle in a challenge with Gabriel. This would be a massive loss for the Seagulls.
