    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

    "One, two, three, four, five!"

Wolves forward Raul Jimenez counts out the number of times he thinks he has been fouled in this first half.

Leeds defender Diego Llorente disagrees and tells the Mexican so, as do the home fans who are getting annoyed by the Wolves man.

That's probably because they are also frustrated with their team. No rhythm in the final third.

    Into stoppage time.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

We shouldn't pretend this is a surprising half-time score.

Crystal Palace have dominated possession but there hasn't been a whole load of chances.

  3. Postpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Everton 1-1 Watford

Nice footwork from Juraj Kucka on the edge of the Everton area but the the quality of the shot doesn't match it as he lashes over.

That's probably the last action before half time.

    Southampton 1-1 Burnley

    James McFadden
Former Scotland forward on Final Score

It's been coming. Southampton have hit the post and Nathan Redmond had that chance where he should do better. It's a good ball into a good area and Valentino Livramento's shown bravery to get his head on it.

  5. Postpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Everton 1-1 Watford

Pressure mounting on Watford as half time approaches as the Hornets just about manage to scramble a Seamus Coleman ball into the box away with Salomón Rondón and Tom Davies lurking.

NUFC may not have magically transformed into world beaters overnight, but they look a lot better organised at the back. If only we’d had a Premier league winning defender in the coaching team when Bruce was manager…

Yves: Newcastle need better players, not some magic wizard who can turn the current lot into world beaters.

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Elland Road

Kalvin Phillips receives a good ovation from the Leeds fans as he comes out to warm-up.

This game is starting to drift, which Leeds can't afford to let happen given the scoreline.

Phillips would give them the impetus they need.

Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff hurts himself while blocking Odsonne Edouard's shot. The Palace striker took too many touches.

  13. 'Careless'published at 15:40 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Everton 1-1 Watford

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is careless from Kucka; Gordon gets on the wrong side of him. He's got every right to go to ground. It won't get overturned, because it is not clear and obvious.

  14. Postpublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Southampton 0-1 Burnley

Oh how on earth did Nathan Redmond miss this!

Good work from Armando Broja on the right as he gets a low cross in across the face of goal, Redmond is at the far post for a tap in but somehow fires wide!

And now Valentino Livramento hits the post! All happening.

  17. Postpublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

Should have saved that Raphinha-Samba analogy for this bit of play.

The Leeds winger dances away from a couple of would-be Wolves markers, setting Jamie Shackleton off down the right but his cross into the Wolves box is cleared.

Seconds later, Rodrigo almost tees up Dan James but the away team clear.

  18. Postpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Everton 1-1 Watford

    James McFadden
Former Scotland forward on Final Score

Watford have got back into it. Last week, defensively, Watford were really poor but they have been getting back in numbers and it's been a really even game.

Not too many clear-cut chances but it's not been an easy a game for Everton as many people would have thought. An even game.

  19. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Everton 1-1 Watford

Everton have had seven shots on goal so far in this half but there hasn't been too much to worry Ben Foster.
