    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

This is turning into a scrappy battle. Mistakes from both sides are flowing more freely than wine.

Eventually Leeds seize the ball and advance, but Rodrigo tries to be too clever as Dan James runs ahead of him into the box.

So clever that it is impossible to say what the Spain international was trying to do.

The groans tell us that Elland Road is wondering the same.

  2. Postpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Everton 1-1 Watford

Andros Townsend's cross sails over everyone's heads as Everton try to regain the lead.

The hosts have lost their way a bit since opening the scoring.

  3. 'The right decision'published at 15:19 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Everton 1-1 Watford

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is the right decision. It goes against the run of play. Demarai Gray is in front of the corner taker, and he doesn't get up quick enough. It is a big goal for Watford, they looked out of sorts and now they've got a life line.

    Leeds Utd 0-1 Wolves

    Jermaine Beckford
    Ex-Everton striker on Final Score

There was a catalogue of errors, the ball has fallen to Hwang Hee-Chan and he's put it into an open net. A good goal for Wolves. Leeds had been dominating the opening exchanges, the possession stats were massively in their favour, but it's silly mistakes like this that create these situations.

  5. Postpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Southampton 0-1 Burnley

Southampton are trying to muster a response but it is always a tough task against the well organised Burnley defence.

Work to do for Southampton if they are to record back-to-back home wins.

  6. Postpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

A lovely run from Allan Saint-Maximin but then he gets his final ball into Ryan Fraser wrong and it runs through to the Palace keeper.

  7. Postpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

What have Leeds got in response? They're on the prowl.

Raphinha cracks a low strike at Wolves keeper Jose Sa, before Jack Harrison and Stuart Dallas combine on the left.

The ball threaded into the Wolves box is just ahead of Mateusz Klich and Sa gathers again.

  8. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

Chance for the visitors. Emil Krafth's hooked shot is cleared off the line (well in front of it) by Marc Guehi and Callum Wilson puts the rebound into the side-netting from a tight angle.

  9. goal

    Joshua King

Watford fans have to wait for this one after a VAR check but they are level!

Joshua King stabs in after a delivery from Adam Masina is headed down to the striker. Initially it is ruled out for offside but after a long VAR check it is given.

    Game on!

  10. Terrible from Jack Harrisonpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Elland Road

That was really poor from Jack Harrison.

Nelson Semedo has nowhere to go by the touchline but Harrison dives in, the former Barcelona man skips past and Leeds are in trouble.

    A goal out of nothing.

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

"You're going down with the Villa!" chant the gleeful Wolves fans.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

Ooof. Ryan Fraser goes to head the ball and gets a Joachim Andersen boot to the head.

Crystal Palace defender Andersen is booked for that high foot. He doesn't agree with the decision.

Maxwel Cornet directs a great header in off the post from Burnley's first real attack.

  14. goal

GOAL - Leeds 0-1 Wolvespublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Hwang Hee-Chan (10 mins)

Elland Road is silenced. Apart from the pocket of Wolves fans in the corner, of course.

Nelson Semedo picks the pocket of Jack Harrison on the right and his cross is scuffed goalwards by Raul Jimenez.

That falls into the path of Hwang Hee-Chan, the striker on loan from RB Leipzig, to sweep in his fourth goal in six games.

  15. Postpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Southampton 0-0 Burnley

Important sliding block by Charlie Taylor as Theo Walcott gets a shot off after running onto Valentino Livramento's great ball forward.

  16. Postpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

If someone had said 10 years ago that Leeds fans would be singing about a skilful Brazilian playing at Elland Road that wasn't Tresor Kandol, I'd never have believed you.

Raphinha twists and turns on the right to win a corner. That is flashed wide by Rodrigo's head. Close but not close enough.

  17. Postpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

A Newcastle statement on some of the fans' clothing.

"The new owners have been overwhelmed by the welcome of the local community, following the acquisition of the club two weeks ago.

"The fans who have celebrated by wearing culturally traditional clothing, including head coverings, have been part of that welcome.

"Those who wish to support the club by wearing appropriate culturally-inspired clothing should feel free to do so as they see fit. We are inclusive to all.

"To reiterate what we said previously, neither the club nor its new owners were offended by attire worn, and appreciate the overt statements of support and acceptance by our great fans."

  18. 'Davies has been involved'published at 15:10 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Everton 1-0 Watford

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Tom Davies has been heavily involved in this game; scored the early goal, we've talked about the need for a box-to-box midfielder for Everton today.

  19. 'I love everything about this stadium'published at 15:10 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Everton 1-0 Watford

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Goodison Park is a proper stadium. I love everything about it; the atmosphere, the closeness, I loved coming here and getting booed. It will be a sad day when Everton move.

  20. Postpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 23 October 2021

    Everton 1-0 Watford

No sign of a response from Watford to that early Tom Davies goal. Instead it is Everton who are keeping up the pressure as Andros Townsend has a shot well saved before Anthony Gordon heads wide.
