  1. We need to prove TV producers wrong - Glasspublished at 11:58 British Summer Time 15 August 2021

    Raith Rovers v Aberdeen (12:00)

Aberdeen manager Stephen Glass tells BBC Scotland: "Any time we pick a team from the group that we've got it is going to be a strong team. Every time we've looked for a performance the players have produced and I don't see any difference why that'll not be the case today.

"There's a reason it's the early kick-off and on the television. The producers pick games for a reason, but it's up to us to make sure that reason is incorrect.

"Raith Rovers have got John McGlynn's character in them which is their biggest threat. But we've picked a group of players who are capable of coming and winning this game."

  2. Aberdeen offer no surprises - McGlynnpublished at 11:55 British Summer Time 15 August 2021

    Raith Rovers v Aberdeen (12:00)

Raith Rovers manager John McGlynn tells BBC Scotland: "It's a tough one but we know exactly what Aberdeen are going to do and hopefully we've got enough in our locker to cause them problems.

"They'll play 4-2-3-1, they'll try to build from the back, but they can play long to Jet (Jay Emmanuel-Thomas) because he's a target man. Dylan McGeocuh will take the ball in midfield, their wingers will come inside, their full-backs will try and overload and put in crosses, so we know exactly what they'll do. But we'll try and stop that, put our game onto them, and try and get one more goal than them."
