Lincoln quickly go up the other end and great link-up play between Anthony Scully and Dan N’Lundulu results in Scully bending the ball just over the bar from outside the area.

    The hot-shots are warming up.

There's no sign of Blackburn panicking at Huddersfield.

They're straight back into their pass-and-move style, trying to unlock the Terriers defence.

It's a disciplined set-up from Carlos Corberan's side though, not leaving space to exploit.

    Paddy McNair (38 mins)

Middlesbrough get a second and it's the skipper Paddy McNair who lashes home to establish the cushion.

Andraz Sporar backheeled a ball in the box into the path of Matt Crooks, who just toes it into McNair's path.

The Northern Ireland international caught it sweetly, and it fizzed unerringly past the despairing Robin Olsen.

Boro two-up and deservedly so. They're tearing the Blades apart at the back.

    So close from Sheffield United.

Long ball looped over the top sees Iliman Ndiaye give chase enthusiastically, and as he races toward goal, his acute-angle shot thumps the base of Joe Lumley's post and booms away.

Cracking ball from George Baldock. Ben Osborn was up in support and was desperate for it to be squared.

  15. League One updatepublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 28 September 2021

Big goal in the big game in League One and it's an absolute shocker! Max Power headed a long ball past his own goalkeeper from 30 yards and watched it trickle into the net to give Sheffield Wednesday the lead at Wigan.

If that result remains the same, Sunderland will be leaders by the end of the night as Ross Stewart has now made it 2-0 against Cheltenham.

Nathan Holland has swept home his second of the night to make it 2-0 for Oxford United against Accrington.

Struggling Gillingham - five games without a win - are now leading at Cambridge United through Vadaine Oliver.

While Scott Twine has found an equaliser for MK Dons in their home game with Fleetwood.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Blackburn

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United work the ball around the Boro penalty area really smartly, and Ben Osborn pushes a low pass to Billy Sharp all on his own on the left of the box.

It looks as though it's begging to be curled far post, but instead he sort of drags it low near post and Joe Lumley sinks low to save.

It doesn't take long for Boro to get on their bike downfield, and Marcus Tavernier squirts a low drive on the soggy turf which has Robin Olsen scampering across his box to watch wide.
