Hibs head coach Jack Ross confirms to BBC Sportsound that striker Kevin Nisbet is missing due to illness - and that a report claiming the striker could be on his way from Easter Road to Celtic is "complete fabrication".
"First of all, I wouldn't say he was unwell if he wasn't, because he is," he says.
"Second of all, I was really surprised when I started to get messages and calls about the story that broke because, as far as I'm concerned, at this moment in time, it's nonsense.
"I believe Kevin will be the subject of interest and has been the subject of interest. He's a terrific player and been brilliant for me.
"Things might change, but at the moment, no. Nonsense. At this moment in time, there's never been one single conversation or discussion around it."

Hibs head coach Jack Ross has handed new signing James Scott a debut in the frontline.
The former Motherwell forward joined on loan from Hull City earlier this week and comes in for Kevin Nisbet, who is missing from the matchday squad.
The other change in the visiting line-up from last weekend's League Cup win over Kilmarnock is in midfield as Alex Gogic comes in for Joe Newell.

Dundee manager James McPake has made just one change to the side that beat Motherwell to progress to the last eight of the League Cup.
Max Anderson - the 20-year-old midfielder who McPake admitted there is interest in earlier this week - comes into the starting XI in place of full-back Jordan Marshall following suspension.
That change may see the versatile Jordan McGhee drop into the back four.

Dundee v Hibernian (12:00)
Despite the absence of Kevin Nisbet from today's squad, Hibs head coach Jack Ross has described the suggestion that the 24-year-old could be involved in a swap deal for fellow Scotland striker Leigh Griffiths from Celtic as "complete nonsense".
More of that to come...
Celtic piled the early pressure on reigning champions Rangers in emphatic style yesterday as a David Turnbull hat-trick helped Ange Postecoglou's rejuvenated side sweep aside St Mirren.
Meanwhile, Livingston are the only side in the Premiership without a point after Motherwell inflicted a third consecutive league defeat on David Martindale's side.
Livi will stay bottom no matter what happens today, but Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs all have the chance to overtake Celtic at the top.
Now we've got those out the way, here's a reminder of today's games...
