Dundee are pressing for a victory and goalscorer Paul McGowan threatens just that with a flashing drive over the crossbar.

Jamie Gullan has come on for James Scott up front for Hibs, while Ryan Sweeney replaces Liam Fontaine for Dundee.

Paul McMullan does well to manoeuvre himself into space to cross and poor marking from the Hibs defence allows the midfielder time to nod low into the corner from close range.

Jamie Murphy should have settled the game for Hibs a few minutes ago and the winger's disappointment is compounded as he is replaced with Drey Wright.

A bit of pushing and shoving after Dundee win a free-kick and Hibs left-back Josh Doig and Dundee midfielder Shaun Byrne find themselves in the referee's book.

Max Anderson went down in a heap as he tried to respond to that Hibs break and the midfield fails to recover from the injury.

Declan McDaid is sent on to take his place.

Indeed, Dundee make a change as influential Charlie Adam is replaced with the equally experienced Paul McGowan in midfield.

A dangerous break from Hibs is brought to a shuddering halt by a pretty brutal trip from defender Lee Ashcroft that leaves winger Martin Boyle needing a spell of treatment.

Dundee threaten to strike back almost immediately as Charlie Adam's miss-placed cross looks to be dipping in before goalkeeper Matt Macey turns it over for a corner.

Hibs have turned this round and get their reward for a spell of pressure as centre-half Ryan Porteous' volley finds it way into the net from the resulting corner.

It comes through a sea of legs, but goalkeeper Adam Legzdins will maybe think he could have done more than touch it into the side netting.
