I am not a Man U fan, but seeing Ronaldo in a United shirt again is still really exciting. He's one of the best in history, and having him back at the club where he began his legacy is something special. He won't just make up the numbers either; he'll get 20 goals this season, and that's despite the late start, with United having played 3 games already. A superb signing.

Championship club Millwall are trying to complete a deal for Liverpool forward Sheyi Ojo on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old spent the last four seasons on loan at Fulham, Reims, Rangers and Cardiff.
Ojo still has two years left on his current Reds deal and Millwall are working towards bringing him to the New Den before the 11pm deadline.

Kit Hunwicks: I can't be the only Everton fan who's happy that it looks like Rodriguez is staying and that we're "saddled" with him for a while longer. Salary and Benitez's plans be darned, he is capable of moments of absolute magic and I want that at my club.

Despite my previous post about their interest in Kieffer Moore, I have now been told that Wolves' transfer deadline day is over.
They were looking at additional signings but it cannot be forgotten they did make a significant signing on Sunday when South Korean international Hwang Hee-chan joined on loan from RB Leipzig.

Saints fan here, looks like a mass clear out of financial dead-certs (Ings, Vestergaard etc) along with a lot of "Championship fodder". Some very wise buys and a good injection of skill, youth and marked quality. I'm pleased (so far).

Swansea City are in talks to sign Brentford winger Tariqe Fosu on a season-long loan, with a view to a permanent transfer.
The Ghana international played 49 games for Brentford last season as they won promotion to the Premier League.
But he has yet to feature for the Bees in this campaign, with manager Thomas Frank indicating earlier this month that he would be prepared to let the 25-year-old leave.

As a Man City fan I might surprise you by saying I'm glad we didn't get drawn in by Messi and Ronaldo - obviously both incredible players but I'd rather see us find a solution for the next 10 years rather than the next 2. Grealish now and Haaland next summer would be great business, just requires some patience!

Wolves were linked with Kieffer Moore earlier but that deal doesn't look likely.
Apparently, Cardiff were wanting around £12m for the Wales international and Wolves are not willing to pay that amount.
Manager Bruno Lage likes him though - and Wolves are yet to score this season - so with a couple of hours left, someone may change their mind before the window closes.

It now looks increasingly likely that 31-year-old striker Salomon Rondon will be Everton's only deadline day signing.
Manager Rafael Benitez knows Rondon well having worked with him at Newcastle United and Dalian Yifang but it will be another free transfer.
This means Everton have only spent £1.7m on Demarai Gray since Benitez was appointed. Asmir Begovic and Andros Townsend were free transfers.
It means Benitez will be doing it on a shoestring until January and it also looks like Everton will still be saddled with James Rodriguez's expensive salary.
Less than two hours remaining in the transfer window.
Still waiting on Saul Niguez to Chelsea.
