Scott Parker's side are now the only unbeaten side left in the EFL. They have won eight of their last nine, including the last four, and haven't conceded a goal in their last three games.

And with Dominic Solanke in good goalscoring form it looks like a daunting prospect for Reading tonight.

The Royals have lost their last two and will want to forget their previous home game when they lost 3-2 to Blackpool having been 2-0 up.

But Veljko Paunovic's side have enjoyed some good wins this season, notably an away victory at Fulham last month, so will fancy their chances of pulling off a win here too.

Bournemouth's nearest challengers Fulham and West Brom faced off in today's early kick-off and it was the Londoners who ran out 3-0 winners to move within two points of the Cherries.

The standout game was Cardiff's remarkable comeback to claim a point after going 3-0 down to Stoke. The Bluebirds looked like they were going to lose their ninth game on the spin before three goals in six minutes stopped the rot.

Coventry, Huddersfield and Blackpool all won to maintain their strong starts to the season and make up the rest of the play-off spots - a scenario few would have predicted at the start of the campaign.

There wasn't much joy for the teams occupying the relegation places, with Derby, Barnsley and Hull all losing.
