Comfortable progress to the League Cup semis for the hosts.
Second-half goals from Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos reward Rangers' dominance.
Callum Davidson's men are back off to their second home in November after goals from Shaun Rooney and Ali Crawford send the Perth side to their third straight semi-final.
It will be the fifth time in 10 months that Saints have played at Hampden. Unbelievable.
As for Dundee, that's four games without a goal and over 15 years since their last visit to the national stadium.
Rangers 2-0 Livingston
Another driving run from Fashion Sakala down the left has Livingston on the back foot.
The visitors survive, though, and we're now into injury time.
Rangers 2-0 Livingston
Into the final few minutes, is there another goal in this tie?
Rangers 2-0 Livingston
Rangers are pushing for more goals and Fashion Sakala breaks down the left, but his cutback finds no takers.
Livingston look like full-time can't come quickly enough.
Ali Crawford
Game over.
Callum Booth again is the man asking questions as he breaks through a challenge with Cammy Kerr and drills a ball into the box.
Crawford is there to add a classy finish to score his first Saints goal and put this game to bed.
Dundee 0-1 St Johnstone
St Johnstone go up the other end looking for a second as Callum Booth slices a strike over.
Wasn't too far away, but the full-back probably had more time than he thought.
Dundee 0-1 St Johnstone
Luke McCowan eventually comes on for Dundee as Max Anderson makes way.
The home side are pushing for an equaliser, but they cannot break down a solid visiting backline.
Rangers 2-0 Livingston
Livingston keeper Max Stryjek with another top-drawer stop, this time clawing away a Connor Goldson header after the defender rises to meet James Tavernier's corner.
Stryjek sold the second goal, but has saved his side from a hammering tonight.
Rangers 2-0 Livingston
Alfredo Morelos goes off to a standing ovation, with recent recruit Juninho Bacuna on in the Rangers striker' s place.
Dundee 0-1 St Johnstone
Dundee look for an instant reply as a deep free-kick falls to Lee Ashcroft, but his attempted volley is straight into the arms of Zander Clark.
Shaun Rooney
The cup hero has done it again!
It's as scrappy as they come as the ball eventually falls to Rooney in the box with his back to goal.
The defender turns and buries a tame shot via a slight deflection into the net. Are they going to Hampden again?!
Dundee 0-0 St Johnstone
Another chance goes begging for Leigh Griffiths as Lee Ashcroft gets his head to a free-kick.
The ball loops high in the air and falls for the Dundee striker who swings his right foot at it, but it's poor.
Rangers 2-0 Livingston
Neil Alexander
Former Livingston goalkeeper on Sportsound
Quote MessageLivingston have been slack this second half and don't get away with it this time. That should be the game dead and buried.
Alfredo Morelos
Oh dear. Max Stryjek has been performing heroics for Livingston but he's just sold the jerseys for the second goal, inexplicably passing the ball straight to Alfredo Morelos, who takes a touch then gleefully smashes a shot past the red-faced keeper.
