  3. A quite incredible sequence of semi-final spots for Hibs, but what about St Johnstone getting this far again?

    Can the holders earn a shot of doing it all again in December? Quite possibly. Am I filling desperately waiting on the draw happening? Absolutely. Stick with us, folks.

    Celtic were in total control from the first whistle. It's been a decent enough performance. There's been a couple of mistakes, but overall the manager will be quite happy

    Hibs' Joe Newell plays an inviting ball across the face of the goal, but Kevin Nisbet can't get the vital touch to steer it home and finish the tie.

    Peter Pawlett has the ball in the net again after a lovely bit of skill to lob it over Matt Macey, but the assistant referee rules it out for offside.

    TV replays appear to show Pawlett was onside.

    Dylan Levitt plays a brilliant ball into the box and Nicky Clark is inches away from getting a touch. Even so, goalkeeper Matt Macey has to push it away for a corner kick.

    Moments later and Macey can't hold a corner kick. Nervy moments for Hibs who were cruising at the break.

    While all eyes fall on Tannadice as an upset may or may not be appearing on the horizon, not very much continues to happen at Celtic Park.

    The hosts are knocking it about well, but don't seem overly fussed about adding to their tally. Nir Bitton and Ismaila Soro are now on for the hosts.
