    Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves

Terrific win for Palace at Manchester City last week and they've started off on the front-foot against Wolves without managing to test Jose Sa. These are two in-form teams and this ought to be a belter.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2021

    Brentford 0-1 Norwich

A lively start at Brentford and home striker Ivan Toney is already into the book for a late scissor challenge on Andrew Omobamidele when looking to close down the defender.

First foray forward and Norwich get the opener.

It is a brilliant solo run from crowd favourite Mathias Normann, weaving past a number of Brentford challenges, getting to the edge of the area and confidently slotting home a finish into the far corner.

  4. Consistency in Chelsea's defencepublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Burnley

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Three games in a row now we've seen those three centre-backs of Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva and Andreas Christensen for Chelsea.

That's a clear message of 'this is my number one choice centre-back three.' That consistency is important in that position.

  5. CLOSE!published at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2021

    Brentford 0-0 Norwich

It should have been the opener in the second minute for Brentford but Ivan Toney cannot get proper connection onto the ball after Norwich failed to clear a long throw into the box.

  8. 'We've won here many times'published at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2021

FT: Man Utd 0-2 Man City

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to Sky Sports: "More to come - he is so young. We play more games of our life. The City Blues, we know how important it is.

"Here at Old Trafford always a good performance in general since we are together, We have won many times, much more than at any other stadium. Solid performance, good game and deserved victory. Three more points.

"You have to put the ball in the fridge. A lot of passes, a lot of passes. Except 10 minutes in the middle when I thought we lose stupid ball, really good.

"The move is the ball, everyone has to be in their position. When you move much, not good. The ball comes where we are."

Should have scored more? "It is OK. I am so demanding, we are so demanding for ourselves but I am very pleased. This is the game we needed.

"They [Manchester United] are so dangerous. That is why we had a game with a lot of control. If you let them run at Old Trafford it is a little bit like Anfield. They are built for that.

"We played the game we needed today. You have to play quick, to move the ball and do the touches every player need but also try to put the ball in the pocket.

"The game was 2-0 and everything was comfortable. I felt didn't need to change.

"Three games now 27 left. We dropped points at home. Right now Chelsea are unstoppable. We know we cannot drop much points to be close to them but against the big six we performed well.

"The most important is we came to Old Trafford and can say these guys played good. This is what I am happy the most after six years here. We tried to play our game."

Supported Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for a long time. Believed we were in a transition, building for the future. Seriously questioning the performances against Liverpool and now City. For a club being built, I'm seeing us going backwards. It hurts to say that if Ole loves the club he needs to give it the best chance moving forward, he has to let another take the helm.

The stats are a little skewed through because they've only won two as well, with six draws in there.

Nick: I'll always have the utmost respect for everything Solskjaer gave us as a player but United desperately need a new manager. It's weekly humiliation at the moment.

Martin: To be honest every Man United fan didn’t expect to beat city this time round but the manner in their defeat, awful. Man City didn’t look like they got out of 3rd gear! Comfortable and in control the entire match.

Where do you go from here?

I think Ole is their man, but five goals against Liverpool and Manchester City isn't good enough.

I thought they were poor again today.

At the moment, they don't look like they know what they're doing.

Is it bad that I am relieved and happy with 2-0? That's not a bad result for united.

Manchester City were exceptional again today.

They'll actually feel disappointed. David De Gea made some stunning saves.

If you're a Manchester United fan you'd feel devastated by the players' performances.

I think City had another four or five gears to go up to. They went 2-0 up and kept the ball, they were pulling United apart.

They looked so comfortable, easy afternoon. They could probably go out and play another game tomorrow.
