Well, what did Eddie Howe expect?
Goals at both ends has been the story of Newcastle's season prior to today, and while that aspect hasn't changed, the hosts look more incisive from back to front, and are trying to press in Brentford's half.
They still need someone sitting in front of the back four to snuff things out, but I guess that might not change until January.
It's been entertaining nonetheless.
