Trust the process.
The phrase has been something of a mantra for Arsenal during Mikel Arteta's time as boss.
From the outset, here was a respected former player, schooled in management by the great Pep Guardiola, with a plan to lead a lost club back onto a purposeful path to glory.
In the darkest days, most notably the three straight, humbling losses to begin this league season, it became a stick with which disgruntled supporters sarcastically beat the Spaniard.
But Arteta's team are now unbeaten in eight league games - 10 including the Carabao Cup - and are fifth in the table with a young, largely new squad that is starting to knit together.
So has that oft-used phrase now regained some of its legitimacy and is the plan finally starting to come together?

Alan Shearer
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5Live
We all expected Chelsea to be strong and we've seen that. Their performances have been mostly fantastic and I don't see that changing.
Simply because of the drive of the manager and that squad, one goes in and another one comes out and you don't bat an eyelid.
That's why they'll be there or there abouts at the end of the season and one of the reasons I thought Chelsea would win the league.

The international break was the first time in weeks I didn't hear on a daily basis about how close Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is to being sacked.
If United drop any points here, the heat would be right back on Solskjaer - but I don't see that happening.
Watford have lost both their home games under Claudio Ranieri so far, and I think this will be defeat number three.
Watford v Man Utd (15:00 GMT)
They could lose more than four of their opening 12 matches of a top-flight season for the first time since 1989, when they went on to finish 13th.
Aston Villa v Brighton (15:00 GMT)
Steven Gerrard is determined to put his own stamp on Villa.
"We are going to play slightly different to what's been before. I want to put my own stamp on things, my own identity and our philosophy," he said.
"That will take some time but you will see some changes.
"It is a new start. A fresh start. I have told the players to impress me the best way they can on and off the pitch."

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has got the toughest job out of the three new Premier League managers.
Everyone will be talking about how much money he has to spend in the January transfer window, but there is a lot of hard work to be done before they get to that point.
Who they bring in then will be pivotal in terms of whether they stay up or not, of course, but he has to get some results with his existing players first.
That won't be easy. The Magpies are in a relegation battle, and they haven't won a game yet this season despite playing most of the teams around them at the bottom already.
This might just be a good time to play Brentford, though, because the Bees have lost their past four league games.

Chelsea
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel to BT Sport: "It's always a bit tricky to prepare after the international break - we had our team back on Thursday, Thiago Silva arrived yesterday - and the 12.30 away game is also new to us, to adapt to this early kick-off and adapt to our schedule.
"But we learn, and we develop the schedule that hopefully gives us the chance to have a good performance because we need to be at top level to get the three points.
"We had two tough matches against Leicester last season - one we lost at Wembley and one final, for us, for Champions League qualification which we won at home with spectators. Two very close matches - they are a very talented side with a good coach so it's a tough one and we need to be on our top level."
On squandering chances against Burnley in a 1-1 draw last time out: "I'm happy when we create chances because it sometimes gives you a better feeling than scoring out of nothing. That can be nice, of course, and we take any goal but we are not too worried if we create chances and don't take them - sometimes this happens, it's happened to us in the last match and it is something you need to accept."
Aston Villa v Brighton (15:00 GMT)
Wolves v West Ham (15:00 GMT)
Michail Antonio has been on form during the international break, scoring two goals in as many games for Jamaica in draws with El Salvador and the United States.
He now has nine goals in 16 games in all competitions this season... can he add to his tally this afternoon?

Youri Tielemans' absence today was expected after he picked up a calf injury in Leicester's most recent Premier League game at Leeds but right-back Ricardo Pereira is also missing.
Brendan Rodgers says Pereira "felt his hamstring a little yesterday".

Leicester City
Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers to BT Sport: "I think with these games coming up in this period, it's where the season really gets going now - and there's no better game than to play the European champions and a great team.
"We have to go and play with no fear and when you do that, you always give yourself a chance to win.
"Chelsea have got everything - you only need to look at the bench. They have assembled an incredible squad of players and they have still got a few out.
"In these types of games, the big thing is concentration and physicality. We know we have talent so we know we can cause them problems as well and we've shown that."
Watford v Man Utd (15:00 GMT)
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says fans will "see a reaction" when his side take on Watford later.
United are sixth in the table after a run of just four wins in 12 games.
"The players, staff, myself and club are working toward one goal; to improve and get better results," he said.
"When you lose, you are always disappointed and under pressure. Sometimes the first thing you want to do is get back on the training ground.
"But this has been a good time to refresh our minds. We have prioritised a few things and I am sure you will see a reaction."
Newcastle v Brentford (15:00 GMT)
We will see the first of Newcastle under Eddie Howe today - but he knows he has a big challenge ahead of him.
"The task ahead is huge. It is a very difficult challenge. I'm under no illusion. We have a very difficult fixture list in December," said Howe.
"All we can do is look at the horizon, try to win the next game and try and be better prepared for the next game after that.
"There is no magic wand. It will take a lot of hard work to instil what we want in the players quickly. Their application so far has been hugely impressive. We will need that to be consistent."
I think Dennis is supporting Leicester today.
