Not sure what happened to Demarai Gray, to be honest.

He was able to walk off unaided and headed straight down the tunnel.

Jordan Pickford has been much better for Everton over the last 18 months. The biggest compliment you can pay him is that nobody really talks about him. There was a lot of noise surrounding him in an Everton shirt, that has settled down.

This has started as we expected, Everton have two banks of four, waiting in their own half and keeping their shape.

Pinball inside the Everton box as Joao Cancelo has a go from outside the box. It deflects off TWO team-mates - including Cole Palmer - before whizzing behind.

Everton haven't won a match since 25 September. Their team is badly hit by injuries and they've got a terrible record against City.

But their fans have turned out in numbers at the Etihad. It's packed in the away end.

Raheem Sterling wins City's first free-kick - and it's in a decent position just outside the box. It's swept into the danger area but evades everyone and drifts behind for a goal kick.

Action at both ends in the opening exchanges.

It's City who get the game under way but they lose possession quickly.

Everton are charging towards the City goal and a chance opens up for Anthony Gordon but his attempt inside the box is blocked.

With Chelsea and Liverpool both winning yesterday, this is a big game for Man City. A professional job is required. We're under way.
