  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 30 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

Andre Marriner reaches for his top pocket for the first time as Eric Dier is chopped down in full flight by Joe Gelhardt. This isn't a good game.

Peppered by fouls. Not enough goalmouth drama.

  2. 'Spurs fans are restless'published at 16:59 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

The home crowd are getting restless with this performance. Leeds are far more on the front foot, pressing and doing it really well, looking really strong as a group and organised.

  3. Postpublished at 27 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

Rarely has a party atmosphere fallen so flat. The stadium was bouncing before kick-off - now all you can hear is Leeds fans.

    Spurs have been poor.

  4. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

A long punt forward for Harry Kane. It's easily cut out. Antonio Conte is going bonkers. He's demanding better than that.

  5. 'Dallas doesn't get enough credit'published at 16:54 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Whenever I see Stuart Dallas play, I look at the position he should be on the line up but then I see him pop up in midfield, arriving in the box. He can play anywhere, I don't think he gets enough credit for how good a player he is.

Benspursfan1975: Only taken 10 mins for Tottenham to try playing football. It's not pretty. Conte will need to be given time.

  7. Postpublished at 21 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

    That's more like it.

Son Heung-Min turns on the pace and gets it to Harry Kane in the box but it's a heavy first touch by the England striker and Leeds clear.

First real sign of danger from Spurs.

  8. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

Considering it's Antonio Conte's first home league game in charge, it's gone awfully quiet. It must be frustrating to be appointed and then lose most of your players to international duty. But Spurs are playing like strangers. They've hardly done anything of any note.

ramenisverynice: "Tottenham’s last Premier League goal was on October 17. Hope that changes today..."

No sign of that changing in the early so far...

Harry Kane has touched the ball once in Leeds United's half so far.

  11. 'Spurs look nervy'published at 16:46 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Tottenham haven't got into the rhythm of the game and they've not asserted themselves. It is a little bit nervy at the moment.

  12. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

Edgy, nervy, trying too hard. Spurs cannot get into their stride and Antonio Conte is out in his technical area barking orders.

The only noise is coming from Leeds' travelling fans who are belting out 'Marching On Together'.

  13. 'Tottenham can't get possession'published at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Tottenham have just been defending the whole game. Leeds are firmly camped in their half and they can't get any sustained possession.

They are trying to get the ball into Kane so he can bring Son or Lucas into the game.

  14. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

75-34 - Leeds United well ahead of Spurs in terms of accurate passes in the opening 10 minutes.

  15. Postpublished at 9 mins

Joe Gelhardt: Born in Liverpool. Made in Wigan.

Looks really comfortable on the Premier League stage.

  16. 'Gelhardt looks strong for a young player'published at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Gelhardt has started really well. He just knocked to the floor and got up straight away and kept the ball. He looks really strong for a young player.

  17. CLOSE!published at 7 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

Spurs have been penned inside their own half. Leeds are really up for this. They go close through Stuart Dallas who hits a crisp, clean shot which whistles just past Hugo Lloris' post. Great start by the visitors.

  18. 'Gelhardt looks bright'published at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Joe Gelhardt is is the thick of it. He looks very bright. I remember seeing this game at Leeds last season, and they tore Spurs to shreds with the energy they had. If I was Bielsa, I'd wonder if they are fit enough, but they've started really brightly.

  19. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

Terrific noise inside the ground as the home fans try and lift their side. It's Leeds who are making all the early running with Joe Gelhardt looking particularly lively in the opening exchanges.

  20. CLOSE!published at 2 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

    That's not a bad attempt.

Kalvin Phillips goes for goal from the set-piece that requires a smart stop by Hugo Lloris.

Leeds have come storming out of the blocks.
