    If we don't do something in the first 10 or 15 minutes of the second half I think we'll see some changes. We haven't worked their goalkeeper enough. However, we need to organise ourselves going back the way too.

  9. 'We're not doing the basics right'

    They're a physical team and I knew they'd sit deep and be condensed. We've not done enough, though. A few long balls troubled us straight from the go. They've cut us open because we aren't doing the basics right.

    We've not seen much of Fraser. He is in the side to get high up, face up to the wing-back, get ammunition into the box or score himself.

    It's been a sobering half of football for Scotland as they go into the interval lucky to be level with the hosts.

    Much, much better is required in the second half from Steve Clarke's men if they are to get the win they need.

    I think Steve Clarke will be quite anxious. This is a big game for Scotland to go and secure three points which we all believe should be well within this side's reach, and Clarke will know that.
