The impact, she's only just now really feeling the aftermath. It's more than being winded, you are rattled to the core. You have to check there is no concussion for any of the Dutch players. It is easy to get a fractured rib in these situations. I didn't see Van Veenendaal bring a knee up which is what you do as a goalkeeper to protect yourself.

It was a rash decision from Van Veenendaal in the goal. She called for the cross but got nowhere near it and clattered into two of her team-mates, both of whom you see sprawled out on the ground now.

It's three Dutch players who ran into each other there - Stefanie van der Gragt, Lynn Wilms and keeper Sari van Veenendaal.

Still waiting to see who recovers.

There's a clash of heads in the box with two Dutch team-mates as they deal with a Kosovare Asllani cross. The physios are on.

Sweden have three at the back and loads going forward and those numbers in attack are swarming the Netherlands defence in these early stages. The defending champions have struggled to put a passage of play together.

    Really good start by Sweden.

Most of the games in the Euros so far have had early goals. The first minute in the case of Spain v Finland. No action yet here though. The blues of Sweden win a corner.

Bit of a scrappy opening. Jonathan Pearce is talking about a Bruce Springsteen concert on the TV.

These are really two heavyweights of women's football, the number two and four ranked teams in the world. Sweden just that one thing left (to win at the Euros), a gold medal. Second and third place previously. They will be out here to fulfil a lifetime ambition.

Sweden’s last six goals at the Women’s Euros finals have been scored by either Lotta Schelin (four) or Stina Blackstenius (two).

Schelin has retired and Blackstenius is on the bench.

Arsenal's Blackstenius was involved in six goals in qualifying for the tournament (two goals, four assists), averaging a goal or assist every 40 minutes.

Sherida Spitse was involved in 15 goals in qualifying for the Women’s Euros for the Netherlands, top-scoring with 10 goals and registering the joint most assists (five, level with Shanice van de Sanden).

Spitse was involved in four goals at the 2017 Euros (three goals, one assist), with only England’s Jodie Taylor (five) involved in more that tournament.

Vivianne Miedema has that next level in her play and that's where some of the frustration comes from.

She is the best number nine and number 10 in the women's game currently. When you are a player that can see things in the game really early which she does quite often, when she doesn't get that ball and it breaks down, that's when the frustration starts to kick in.

She is one of the players I love to watch. She just makes the game look so easy and it's a joy to watch.

A sensational mega mix of trance/dance music has really got the fans going here as kick off approaches.

A good crowd here at Bramall Lane, a couple of the upper tiers appear to be closed but the rest of the ground looks pretty full.
