This is brilliant from Ellen White, who turns Maria Thorisdottir to give herself a sight of goal she never gets to test due to a foul from the Norway defender.

Just as Stephen said that, Norway put the ball straight out of play for a throw after some fine hustling from England.

The first 10 minutes have flown by in a flurry of tackles.

Norway look a little bit calmer. England look a little bit rushed on the ball so far. They're too eager.

You expected both teams to do this - stopping each other playing and not giving each other time on the ball. Both teams' strengths lie in attack.

Lucy Bronze looks sharp. She's been winning everything down the right so far. That was a great ball through to Georgia Stanway too.

Argh, what a waste!

Georgia Stanway has time and space to charge into after being found by Lucy Bronze. She completely fluffs her cross, though, and sends the ball out of play for a goal kick.

Ellen White's first touch sees her beat one player on the left. She can't beat a second, though, and Norway hack clear.

I don't think it's been the best of starts so far. England are still trying to settle into the game.

England look to get Lauren Hemp away for the first time down the left, but the ball sent her way just sneaks out of play. The battle against Tuva Hansen will be a fascinating one.

It's all very frantic in these opening stages. No room or time for a heavy first touch, or a compose second for that matter.

There's a great noise in here. England haven't got out of their half yet but each touch and interception earns a big cheer. When Georgia Stanway was fouled the referee certainly heard about it.

England look to counter again but Georgia Stanway is hacked down to a chorus of boos from the stands.

You can see the intentions of this Norwegian side. Julie Blakstad is going to want to press Lucy Bronze and pin her back in that defensive third.

A bit of head tennis in the middle almost opens up the pitch, with England looking to attack. But this Norwegian team are in no mood to give the home side a second to breathe. In come the tackles.

That was some build-up. Felt more like the prelude to Obi-Wan Kenobi v Darth Vader than a Euros game.

Norway seek out Ada Hegerberg in the box but Lucy Bronze wins her header.

England's toughest group game. Win it and they're through to the last eight.

Norway are here to upset the odds, though. And they've brought a useful strike force with them.
