    Beth Mead

    Simple. Ruthless. Brilliant.

Ellen White creates this but nabbing the ball off Maren Mjelde. She sets up Lauren hemp and her curling cross is headed in by Beth Mead.

It's a rout. With 10 minutes still to go to half-time.

Simon Hayes: Norway blown away here by the Lionesses

Paul Carney: Ellen White showing Watkins how you finish one on one's.

Michael Ewer: Norway are just not on the same energy level as Austria were the other day. They're giving England space all over the park. You can't let this squad run at you! Penalty was a soft one but it hasn't changed this game at all.

The Austria game last Wednesday was an occasion, but a frustrating one for England in many ways.

This has been a release from the off. The Amex crowd are with them every step.

Ellen White rises in the box to glance another effort just wide. There is a swagger to the hosts now.

Ellen White twists in the box to fire a loose ball on target. Guro Pettersen dives low to push it wide.

Maria Thorisdottir had her back to Ellen White and White could see the picture unfolding. She got her body across and after that, it was inevitable. She was never going to miss.

This is why Ellen White is in the squad. It's so much more than scoring goals and just being a number nine. Her work effort is why she's in the side.

Ellen White enjoyed that! She's not scored for a few months in an England shirt. Tongue out, arms in the air and a pause before the restart for the trademark goggle celebration.

    Lovely.

Besus Faffoon: It’d be nice to see the men’s team just pass a team to pieces like the women’s team have just done

Wayne Ellis: No way that’s a penalty, but we’re still very good value for our lead. Much sharper in the final third than against Austria

  14. goal

GOAL - England 3-0 Norwaypublished at 29 mins

    Ellen White

England are charging away into the distance!

This is all down to the tenacity of England's attack, and Ellen White in particular. Maria Thorisdottir's nightmare continues as the England forward nicks the ball of her and runs in on goal before finishing for number three. Stunning.

    Oh, so close!

What a ball this is from Beth Mead! She curls her delivery into the middle for Ellan White, who just gets ahead of Maren Mjelde but can't keep her volley down.

Attack very much the best form of defence for England.

Millie Bright. She got her head to pretty much everything against Austria. She is doing the same again here. Her authoritative header clears the corner.
