It's fully deserved. England have continued to press Norway and push them back. There was no debate - Lauren Hemp was being played well onside. It's brilliant the way she adjusts her feet as a left-footed player.

WOW. Sarina Wiegman will be absolutely delighted. She has urged England to push on after scoring the opening goal in recent matches and that is what you call capitalising on momentum. England look dangerous with every attack at the moment! The noise is ELECTRIC.

They are denied by an offside flag, though, with Lauren Hemp adjudged to be off when bundling in Beth Mead's low ball into the middle.

Perfect penalty. Guro Pettersen guessed the right way but still couldn't get near it. It's reminiscent of how Alan Shearer used to take penalties. It's a brilliant start for the Lionesses.

Oh! Could so easily be 2-0!

Brilliant play from England gets them in down the right and Beth Mead's low ball runs across the face of goal, narrowly missing Lauren Hemp.

That's a big goal from Georgia Stanway. She leapt into the air and immediately ran to the corner flag to celebrate with England's fans. She celebrated so much Ellen White had to help her get something out of her eye! White, who won the penalty, was urging for more noise from fans as she sprinted back to the centre circle. What a start!
