What's worrying about this Netherlands team is that we're not used to seeing them leak as many chances as they are.
They're conceding quite a few goals ans they've been lucky as a lot of chances against them haven't been converted.

Kelly Smith
Former England striker on BBC Two
It was a great start from the off from Portugal they were just on the front foot as soon as the whistle went.

I'm happy with three points but I hope we score more goals. This is not enough. Sweden will score more against Portugal and if we finish second we may have to play France.
We are not ready for France. We'll need to score more goals in the next match.
But there is still hope if Miedema comes back to the team.

There was naivety in the Dutch defence, Portugal got in down the flanks and it's surprising they didn't get any more goals.
It wasn't easy for the Netherlands tonight.

Speaking of Danielle van de Donk, she has become the first player to score for the Netherlands in two different editions of the Women’s European Championships, also netting against England in 2017.
The Dutch have yet to lose a game in which Van de Donk has found the back of the net, going on to win 23 games and draw three times.

A cracking game deserves a brilliant goal to win it.
Here is that goal from Danielle van de Donk...

Portugal and Switzerland trail behind the pair on one point.
Netherlands 3-2 Portugal
Portugal win a late, late corner, but they're not given the time to take it!
The holders have a win on the board, but they had to work mighty hard for it.
Portugal go down swinging.
Netherlands 3-2 Portugal
Ah, Portugal have given the ball away.
I think the game is up.

Last chance saloon now for Portugal.

Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two
Any Netherlands celebrations will be more of relief that they've managed to grind out a result, if it remains 3-2 to them, than it is about quality of performance.
Netherlands 3-2 Portugal
The seconds continue to drain away with the Netherlands deep in Portuguese territory.
Netherlands 3-2 Portugal
We've two of the added five minutes.
The Netherlands look solid. Portugal are desperate.
