Is this the best game of Euro 2022 so far?

The Netherlands have been given a huge scare by Portugal but has Danielle van de Donk won it for the Dutch?

There is still time for Portugal to level again but it is the Netherlands fans who are making the most noise in the closing stages.

The attendance is 6,966 and no-one is leaving. This game has been full of twists and turns.

It's getting a bit tasty in these closing stages. Jill Roord is fouled by Diana Gomes, gets up and shoulder charges the Portuguese player.

Both get booked.

Final throw of the dice?

On come Vanessa Marques and Caroline Mendes for the tiring Tatiana Pinto and Diana Silva.

Can they make a difference?

Into the final five minutes. Time running out for Portugal if they want to pull another rabbit out of the hat.

This will be a nervy ending for the Netherlands.

At 3-2 this game is absolutely not finished.

Dutch midfielder Sherida Spitse looks to deal what would likely be the killer blow, but after gathering the ball on the edge of the box she curls her shot over.

Some game management going on now from the Netherlands. They're looking to slow down the pace, have greater control on the ball and deny Portugal the space they've been looking to exploit with their pacey forwards.

Fifteen minutes to go. The Dutch lead is a slender one.

There is every chance we get another twist in this game.

Fatima Pinto volleys a dipping effort on target but straight at Daphna van Domselaar.

This after Diana Silva's attempted bicycle kick that almost resulted in another crack to the face for Stefanie van de Gragt.

All these changes have stripped the momentum and flow from the game.

Portugal have also had the rug pulled from them a bit by that Van de Donk goal. They were flying before that.

The Dutch make a second change, sending on Victoria Pelova for fellow midfielder Damaris Egurrola.

It is a shame the stand behind that Portugal goal is completely empty.

Goals like that one from Danielle van de Donk deserve a crowd behind them, rising in slow motion during the replay as the ball hits the net.
