    Denmark 0-0 Spain

Good little spell of Denmark possession now.

A ball is played forward from right back but Pernille Harder just mistimes her run behind the defence and is flagged offside.

    Finland 0-0 Germany

Germany might be through to the quarter-finals with one game to spare but they are not taking their foot off the gas.

They've had a couple of decent early chances and forced a corner.

This could be a long night for Group B's bottom club.

    Denmark 0-0 Spain

Pernille Harder needs binoculars to see her team-mates. There's a big gap between her in attack and the rest of the Denmark XI. She has a bit of a thankless task as she chases after a long ball knocked up field but she can't get to it first.

We already know Germany will be going though as Group B winners and that Finland will be going home after this match, but that still hasn't stopped there being a party atmosphere among both sets of supporters at Stadium MK.

There's more Germany flags flying among the fans than those from Finland and hopefully, with not too much pressure on both sides, the teams will provide some great evening entertainment while the drama comes from west London.

    Denmark 0-0 Spain

It is 5-4-1 for Denmark and there's not much space for Spain to do things in the middle. Instead they start by attacking out wide and Mariona Caldentey puts in a dangerous cross but it evades her team-mates.

The commentator says they have nicknamed Milton Keynes Melt-on Keynes because of the weather.

Germany have certainly made a hot start. A cross is delivered into the Finland box inside the opening minute and Alexandra Popp heads over.

An aggressive start by the Germans.

When I was playing, I finished seven years ago, Spain were off the radar. No disrespect as they were part-timers. Every time we played them, they were technically good and didn't have the necessary depth of squad or a huge pool of players to chose from.

The journey Spain have been on, and they have been successful in youth international tournaments and that group of players is here now. They have transformed and Spain is the home of football.

Germany have a similar dilemma to England, what do you do? Keep the momentum going or rotate and rest players?

Of course you want to keep the performances high, keep the results positive and they will want to go into the next round on a high and playing well.

    Denmark v Spain (20:00 BST)

Ahead of the game, Spain right-back Ona Batlle told BBC Sport: "It was by no means the result we were looking for against Germany but we're a great team and have the ability to go out and do what we do.

"We're all aware of the quality Denmark possesses. I believe we're in for a very different game to last time because it's the Euros and they're also trying to make the quarter finals. I think it will be a very good, competitive game."

She is the leader and sometimes because she has to drop so much you kind of lose her at the edge of the box.

I think we all would love to have two Pernille Harders on this team. She can do everything so hopefully she's got some teammates around her.

This is the third of four Euro 2022 games in Milton Keynes.

It hosted the fifth largest crowd of the tournament so far when 16,819 turned up for Spain's 4-1 win over Finland.

With another 20,000 expected tonight, the ground has proved a popular venue.

For the record, the aggregate attendance at Euro 2022 is set to smash through the 300,000 barrier today.

A total of 291,517 fans have watched the first 18 games - an average of 16,195 each match. There are 11 matches to go after today including the final at Wembley on 31 July where 80,000-plus are expected.

The referee in Milton Keynes is Emikar Calderas Barrera who is from Venezuela. She is the only ref at Euro 2022 who is from outside Europe.

Calderas Barrera took charge of the Group A fixture between Austria and Northern Ireland in Southampton on 11 July.

"It’s a dream come true," she said. "It’s all about experience - it’s a very high standard of football and it will really benefit me a lot for following tournaments, but also for my personal development as a referee."

  16. Spain's inability to deal with 'high-pressured situations'published at 19:47 British Summer Time 16 July 2022

    Denmark v Spain (20:00 BST)

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

It's just about execution in an high-pressured situation as it was a lapse of concentration. A team [Spain] like to have plenty of possession on the ball and like to play out from the back. As a goalkeeper, if you make a mistake like Panos did and with a different goalkeeper, it ends in a goal.

  17. Regaining a record?published at 19:45 British Summer Time 16 July 2022

    Finland v Germany (20:00 BST)

    Michael Emons
    BBC Sport at Stadium MK

The first Euro 2022 game Stadium MK hosted saw a crowd of 16,819 for Spain v Finland, which at the time was a record attendance in the competition for a group stage match where the hosts were not playing.

However, the record didn't last long, as 21,342 watched the Netherlands take on Sweden at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane the very next day.

But today, for the first time in the three games in Milton Keynes, there are some fans in the smaller upper tier of the stadium, with more than 20,000 tickets already sold.

It will still be some way short of the 28,600 capacity for this tournament, but the semi-final a week on Wednesday should be much, much closer to that total.
