Finland 0-0 Germany
There's a break in play after team-mates Sara Dabritz and Giulia Gwinn collide inside the Finland box. There's some worried looks on the German bench as Gwinn stays down.

Against Spain last time out, Germany were brutally clinical with two goals from only two shots on target in the whole 90 minutes.
Today, it's chance after chance after chance. In the last five minutes alone, Giulia Gwinn has shot over after a clever backheel by Alexandra Popp, who then poked an effort just wide at the near post.
Gwinn then had a shot charged down, Marina Hegering struck a lovely 35-yard low strike which was only inches wide and Sophia Kleinherne caused panic in the Finland defence with a bustling run down the left.
Every time Finland get over the halfway line there's a huge increase in noise, but it's not happening too often.
Germany with 74% possession and 16 shots, although only one on target, and it's 0-0 in the only stat that really matters.

Germany committed players forward and Finland had a three v two. They could have punished Germany but a loose touch lets them down.

You have to say that Caldentey's the one in terms of scoring, getting in positions like that. She needs to hit it with a little bit more power to beat Christensen.

Spain are starting to settle into a rhythm now which is causing problems for Denmark. They need to stay compact and try and find Pernille Harder in those spaces again which they did so effectively in the first 20 minutes.
Denmark 0-0 Spain
Lovely ball low into the box by Mariona Caldentey. A Danish boot knocks it into Lucía García, who then struggles to control the bouncing ball at her feet and the opportunity passes.
The ever-dangerous Caldentey then hits a low effort straight at Lene Christensen.
Finland 0-0 Germany
And another big chance for Germany as Svenja Huth tests Katriina Talaslahti but it's a comfortable save in the end.
Anyone got a calculator? I'm losing count of all these opportunities.

As soon as Denmark get possession, Pernille Harder will attack the areas she thinks are vulnerable. She's done so well, she usually drags those defenders to the side.
If you put Harder into Spain's team then you'd have a team on your hands in terms of a focal point who does it herself a lot of the time.
Denmark 0-0 Spain
Spain's Leila Ouahabi is booked for dissent, having been disappointed she didn't win a free kick for a foul.

Great play from Germany down the right, watch the movement of Alex Popp, she starts behind - slow, slow - then gets in front of two defenders but she cannot guide it past the goalkeeper.
Her movement is so good to get her into those positions.
Then Marina Hegering, the big centre half, is smiling as she comes forward and thinks why not have a go.

It's all about transitions from possession to losing possession. Denmark attacked well, closed the passing well. Spain were trying to fiddle it through and they counter very quickly but Spain work so hard to get back.
Denmark 0-0 Spain
Pernille Harder gets away down the left as Denmark counter quickly again. She sends the ball into the box and it comes through to Rikke Madsen but she struggles to find a decent position for a shot and in the end Spain get players back to deal with the danger.
An opportunity missed by Denmark there.
Finland 0-0 Germany
This is getting silly.
Alexandra Popp pokes a great chance wide inside the six yard box before Marina Hegering's long range attempt strikes Popp and falls inches wide.
THIRTEEN attempts by Germany - about one every two minutes.

There have been really good patterns of play from left to right from Spain, good passing. Batlle puts a good ball in and Athenea will feel that has to go in the back of the net.
Finland 0-0 Germany
The good news for Finland is that it is still 0-0. Germany had already scored by this stage in their previous two group games against Denmark and Spain. Small victories and all that.
Another Germany attack ends with Giulia Gwinn firing over from inside the box when she had options to the side of her.
Denmark 0-0 Spain
Should be 1-0!
A really good passage of play by Spain as they patiently build their attack, looking for space and trying to make opportunities. In the end the ball is sent in from the right and Athenea del Castillo is there but doesn't connect very well and can only fire straight at the goalkeeper.
Had to do better.
Denmark 0-0 Spain
Spain have had 69% possession but Denmark have looked the bigger threat on the counter.
Denmark 0-0 Spain
An opportunity for Spain out of nowhere as Mariona Caldentey is picked out inside the box but she cushions her head over.
Still goalless with 21 minutes on the clock.

Sara Dabritz was trying to work a yard, standing up a defender then attempting to curl it into the top corner but cannot get enough whip or bend on it.
