Efficient is the best way to describe Germany, they have overcome the challenges put in front of them in the three games and I have been so impressed. I might be slightly biased but I can see an England v Germany final which will be so exciting for everybody.
Spain have recorded two victories at a single edition of the European Women's Championship for the very first time.

It's a massive game for Spain. I just hope that after this game the girls believe in themselves and keep growing through the tournament. England are showing really good performances and it's going to be a hard one for Spain.
They knew from the start, everyone knew it was going to be a possibility. In the end it's going to be that game.
I think it's great the atmosphere for England for the TV, I think it's amazing to watch a game like that, that dimension. Hopefully Spain can be more clinical and work on that.

It's knockout football now and that is like an FA Cup final, it's anyone's game. It's uncomfortable to be up against Spain, genuinely.
As an England player, they are clearly on a high level of confidence at the moment and they have the ability after that trouncing of Norway to collect themselves and steady themselves. They'll have to do that again for the quarter finals.

Austria know it will be difficult, watching this game asking themselves how they will beat this Germany side. Austria were underdogs against Norway and they will have no pressure and expectations to win again. They can go out and enjoy their football. They have a real work ethic and have quality in midfield and attack to cause problems. If you get a chance against Germany, you have to take it.

This Germany team look the real deal, getting through all three group games without conceding.

Before the game if you'd have asked which team England would rather have played it would rather have been Denmark. Spain have that air of unpredictability about them, they can produce goals and they have individual brilliance.
But I think England have got enough.

In the end, Spain stayed loyal to their style and it paid off. I'm so happy for Cardona, she's been injured and I'm so happy for her to score.

Three games, three wins, nine goals, none conceded. Germany had already qualified before this match, but today they finished their Group B campaign with one of the most dominant 3-0s you will ever see.
Thirty-three shots, seven of them on target, three of them in the back of the net, 13 corners and 63% possession.
Finland, semi-finalists when the tournament was last staged in England in 2005, exit without a point and with only one goal to their name.
Ranked 29th in the world, they were totally outclassed by the eight-time European champions Germany, with Finland only having one attempt, none on target and not even a corner.
Germany, who take on Austria next in the quarter-finals, are going to take some stopping in this tournament.

There's a heck of a long way to go in this tournament but...
Anyone else foaming at the possibility of an England v Germany final at Wembley on 31 July?

Really impressive from Germany and it was a different type of test, they have been tested in three different ways and they have come through all of them. They have impressed me by their intensity, energy and aggression. They play 4-3-3 but it can be fluid, they rotate, are great out wide and Alex Popp has been outstanding, the real leader with quality on the ball. They have a real togetherness and look like one of the teams to beat.

Finland
Nice scenes as Finland's players go over to their supporters who are clapping the team. The side ranked 29 in the world exit Euro 2022 without a point in a tough group containing Spain, Denmark and Germany. There are tears on some of the faces of the players.
Here's how Group B finishes with Germany going through as winners and Spain taking second place.

The Germany juggernaut continues apace and they are going very nicely indeed. They will take some stopping.
