Even up high and in the shade of the Bramall Lane press box is no escape from the heat so the tough conditions must be magnified down on the pitch, where only the Swiss goalkeeper is able to benefit from a bit of shade.

It has been a very tight 45 minutes, to be expected with a quarter final place on the line. You feel the one goal will settle this.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 17:54 British Summer Time 17 July 2022

    Sweden 3-0 Portugal

That goal was the last action of the first half.

Sweden are going to win this group unless the Dutch score at least twice in the other game.

Carole Costa own goal (45+7 mins)

We can all pack up now, this one is done.

Jonna Andersson whips in a corner to the near post which Carole Costa heads into her own net.

Portugal are falling apart slightly here and Johanna Rytting Kaneryd should make it 3-0 but shoots straight at the keeper.

This is like a corner. Asllani just shakes her body shape and cuts it to the edge of the box. That's straight off the training ground. Portugal could have read that, but it's an easy and yet difficult finish from Angeldahl.

    Sweden 2-0 Portugal

Sweden almost finish this game entirely as Kosovare Asllani's half-volley lands on the roof of the net.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 17:49 British Summer Time 17 July 2022

    Switzerland 0-0 Netherlands

Goalless here but Switzerland need a goal.

The Netherlands are still going through as Group C runners-up.

    Sweden 2-0 Portugal

That was a goal straight off the training ground.

Moments earlier Portugal's boss had been screaming at his players about marking as Sweden prepared to take the corner.

He marched halfway down the touchline in an attempt to get his message across.

Fair to say the fourth official was not impressed.

Seven minutes added on because of the injury.

  10. goal

GOAL - Sweden 2-0 Portugalpublished at 17:45 British Summer Time 17 July 2022

    Filippa Angeldahl (45 mins)

A double for Filippa Angeldahl and surely Sweden are through.

    It's such a clever set-piece routine.

Sweden have a free-kick on the right wing which Kosovare Asllani stands over.

Everybody is in the centre waiting for the cross.

But Asslani cuts it back to the unmarked Angeldahl, who sweeps home from 16 yards out.

  11. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 17:44 British Summer Time 17 July 2022

    Sweden 1-0 Portugal

Oh that is a very disappointing flag.

Sweden captain Kosovare Asllani plays a first-time backheel without looking into Stina Blackstenius, who slots home.

But the flag goes up - Blackstenius was offside.

Always a shame to see a goal like that not count. Unless you're Portuguese of course.

    Switzerland 0-0 Netherlands

You can see the Netherlands are lacking a presence up front.

Another ball is clipped into the danger area - this time by Jackie Groenen - but with no Vivianne Miedema available, no-one is able to gobble it up.

The possession stats going in at half time I would've expected the Dutch to have far greater possession - that's not been the case so they're a true reflection on the first half, both teams have been in the game.

Applause from both sets of fans as Catarina Amado is carried off on a stretcher and replaced by Joana Marchao. Let's hope the injury is not as bad as it looks.

It would be foolish to write Portugal off just yet. They have fought back from 2-0 down to draw level in their previous two group games, although they did end up losing to the Netherlands in the end.

    Sweden 1-0 Portugal

Portugal have to regroup after that injury to their right-back, Amado. You can't let that change disrupt the game plan and mindset.

The ref isn't having a good game, this time Noelle Maritz clearly trips Sherida Spitse on the edge of the box, but insteads gives a free-kick to the Swiss for obstruction.

Another Sweden goal would probably finish this.

Johanna Rytting Kaneryd makes a darting run into the box but is crowded out of it and can't pick out a team-mate.
