Boos ring out around Bramall Lane with the Netherlands fans furious with that decision to overturn the penalty after a check by VAR.

The referee did look at the monitor for quite a while but it didn't look a spot kick to me.

That might wake the Dutch up though after a sluggish start.

As things stand, Sweden would win the group and the Netherlands would finish second.

It was difficult to tell - she gets the ball, it didn't look to me like there was contact with the goalkeeper.

Correct decision.

VAR does work.

The initial decision was a shocking one from the referee, tbh.

The ref is off to the pitchside monitor.

You know that means it'll be overturned.

Has to be.

Lovely skills by Sweden's Kosovare Asllani on the wing and cuts a ball back to Nathalie Bjorn, whose shot is deflected behind for a corner.

This should be overturned.

Lineth Beerensteyn darts through and is brought down by Gaelle Thalmann, but she gets a big hand on the ball.

When Vivianne Miedema is not affecting the game in one way or feels it needs affecting in another she is able to drop wide or stay up top, she has that understanding of how to change a game. The Dutch are missing that.

This is not a sell-out but there is a decent atmosphere. Horns, drums, flags, the lot.

There's a bloke in front of the press box who has been banging a drum non-stop since kick-off. It was great to start with.

Fifteen minutes in and there's one or two people hoping he starts to run out of energy.

Big chance for Portugal. The keeper can't get her hands to a corner and Carole Costa hammers the ball across goal and wide at the back post.

Orange dominates the colours in the stands but it is the pockets of red that have been the most vocal so far, that superb shot by Sandy Maendly bringing some Swiss fans close to me to their feet.

The Netherlands have certainly not made the best start but, in this heat, conserving their energy may not be the worst strategy.

Excellent from Andersson - she stepped in and read the loose ball to perfection. Asllani doing what she does best, linking play, sharp and intricate passes. Excellent save by the goalkeeper. Fresh start from Sweden.

Remember a draw is enough for Sweden. Portugal need to win and even then it's not guaranteed.

This is a great save, fantastic hit. It's going top corner but the goalkeeper has to go backwards - really athletic and that's the only way she'll get there.
