This is easily the best spell Palace have had.

But, United always have that ability to counter-attack.

It's more of a 4-2-2-2 for Manchester United, but it's so flexible, they go 4-4-2 when attacking.

United are playing much more direct, they're very quick to get the ball into the box.

They are much closer to the Liverpool style. They get it wide and the full-backs put the ball in.

Tyler Roberts involved again. He is found in the box by Adam Forshaw and drives an effort across goal and wide.

    Tottenham 1-0 Norwich

Cheeky from Harry Kane, but he can't quite execute the lob with Tim Krul off his line.

The England captain probably should have done better with that, dragging his effort wide despite having time to pick his spot with Krul in no man's land.

  4. Van de Beek's warm receptionpublished at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

Donny van de Beek has been out for a warm-up.

The Dutchman got a warm reception from the Manchester United supporters.

Van de Beek was hardly ever used by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. With the scores still level it will be interesting to see if Ralf Rangnick turns to the former Ajax man to break the deadlock.

    Leeds 1-0 Brentford

What a good ball this is from Tyler Roberts. Right into the corridor of uncertainty in the box. It needs Pontus Jansson to stick out his boot to prevent it causing more bother.

  6. Postpublished at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

    Tottenham 1-0 Norwich

Son Heung-min dallies on the ball and Adam Idah robs the Spurs forward of possession.

Lucas Moura stops the Norwich break with a foul and Billy Gilmour floats the free-kick on to the boot of Kenny McLean at the back post, but no one can get on his volley into the six-yard box.

    Man Utd 0-0 Crystal Palace

Palace finally get a bit of possession in the Man Utd half. It only acts to give their defence a rest, though. They can't make anything of it in an attacking sense.

Colesy: Constant pressure, camped in the opposition’s half. This is more like the United we love! Just need a goal

  9. Postpublished at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

    Leeds 1-0 Brentford

A game of few chances this. Tyler Roberts' finish from that peach of a Raphinha ball is the one real moment of attacking quality.

  10. CLOSE!published at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

    Tottenham 1-0 Norwich

I'm not sure Ben Davies knows much about it, but he almost turns Son Heung-min's free-kick into an empty net after goalkeeper Tim Krul completely misses the ball.

It seemed to just hit Davies and trickle wide.

That ball over the top for Marcus Rashford to drive on to is the one United keep looking for.

They've been close a number of times.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:34 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

    Tottenham 1-0 Norwich

Billy Gilmour is the third player to find himself in the book, fouling Lucas Moura, but Spurs wanted the advantage with Harry Kane in possession on the right.

Instead they have a free-kick in a dangerous position.

  13. Postpublished at 14:34 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Close!

Jadon Sancho cuts inside from the left and fires a shot that loops up off a Palace defender and lands on the roof of the net.

The corner is well defended again by Palace, who are having to dig in deep.

  14. Postpublished at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

    Tottenham 1-0 Norwich

Norwich have actually dominated possession in north London, enjoying almost 65% of it. But after that early Teemu Pukki chance, they've been able to do little in an attacking sense.

The visitors win a corner though and get another when Pierre Lees Melou's effort from distance is deflected wide. Billy Gilmour's low delivery doesn't beat the first man.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

Fred is down and hurt. He has taken a boot to the leg from a follow-through by Nathaniel Clyne after a tackle. Looked nasty.

The Palace man is booked and Fred is, thankfully, back on his feet after a bit of treatment.

  16. Postpublished at 14:31 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

    Leeds 1-0 Brentford

Tyler Roberts has a spring in his step now. He is found by Dan James on the edge of the box and unleashes a shot that is tipped over by the Bees keeper.

  18. Postpublished at 14:30 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

    Tottenham 1-0 Norwich

Tottenham go close to a second.

It's a swift break from the hosts, involving all of their front three, with Harry Kane shifting it to Lucas Moura, who finds Son Heung-min on the left.

Son shapes to shoot, but drags it into Kane's path instead and the forward jabs just wide.

  20. Postpublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Crystal Palace

Manchester United continue to knock. Cristiano Ronaldo meets a corner with his head but the effort is blocked. Largely one-way traffic.
