Man City 0-0 Wolves
Joao Cancelo chips it over to Raheem Sterling on the right. He cuts it back but Conor Coady is there with the block.
Wolves are really up against it at the moment because Aymeric Laporte has just had a shot deflected out for another corner...
Man City 0-0 Wolves
Oops. A mistake from Conor Coady almost gifts an early chance to Gabriel Jesus but it's quickly poked out for a corner.
Coady then gets something on a cross from the right to deflect it into his keeper's arms.
City straight into it.

To be honest, I'd be petulant if I'd just been given one of the most non sensical yellow cards I've ever seen.
Dan, London
How many refs penalise that? Every top team breaks up play in that way. No common sense from Raul Jimenez or Jonathan Moss.

Jack Grealish wasn't great in the first-half, you watch him closing down and there's not much intensity there.
He hasn't hit the heights he did at Aston Villa, but remember he was the main man at Aston Villa. Now, he's in a pond with bigger fish and it's different.

Alex: Not sure what to think about that second yellow. It feels like the correct decision, yet every week players block free kicks from being taken quickly and there’s no punishments. So perhaps harsh.

Joao Cancelo has been Man City's best player by some distance. On the other side of the pitch with Jack Grealish and Oleksandr Zinchenko, they've been really disappointing, not much intensity.
They're going to win this game through their right-hand side with Raheem Sterling and Cancelo. It'll be interesting to see the changes Pep Guardiola makes.

That's definitely one for 2 good 2 bad from Jimenez.

Spicy. That's what that half was.
We've had five yellow cards - including the two Raul Jimenez picked up in a matter of seconds which led to his bizarre sending off.
Ruben Neves, Ruben Dias and Rodri are also in the book.

Looking at Ruben Neves walking off now, there's no chance he's coming back on.
It would be the best decision to take him off, they're down to 10 men - inevitably they're going to get beat, aren't they? So save him for the rest of the season. You bring him back on he might get hurt.
HT: Man City 0-0 Wolves
Oh no. This isn't good. I don't think Ruben Neves is going to carry on in the second half either.
He bent down with a member of the medical staff next to him before heading down the tunnel. He took a really heavy hit in the head with team-mate Max Kilman earlier.
Personally, I'd have taken him straight off!

Errr, well that was eventful.

Jack: Utter stupidity from Jimenez there, could well cost Wolves the game
The Brighton Bard: Pleased to see the referee punish Raul. Petulant and deservedly sent off.
Bob: Raul has cost his team the game, selfish player.
Man City 0-0 Wolves
Jack Grealish wants a penalty now.
He curls a cross in from the left, it bounces off Max Kilman and Grealish thinks its hit his arm. He's appealling but nothing is given.

Armchair Football Fan: That is unbelievably stupid. Sure, his first booking was ridiculous but what on earth was he then thinking. Absolute madness. Probably our most important player too.
Ashwin: What a display of stupidity by Jimenez!

It comes to Ilkay Gundogan in the box and he smartly evades one, then two tackles, but can't get a clean shot off.

I am not entirely sure what Raul Jimenez was doing then.
He knew he was risking a second yellow by blocking the free-kick and it was clear there was an edge to the game.
That has not helped. Wolves need to reach half-time to regroup.
Man City 0-0 Wolves
Well, we had five minutes added on at the end of the half after Max Kilman and Ruben Neves received lengthy treatment.
But this half will be never-ending now!
