  1. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Burnley 0-0 West Ham

Craig Dawson wants a penalty. As a corner comes in Dwight McNeil goes to tackle him - it's not in a dangerous area. He catches Dawson and not the ball.

  2. Postpublished at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Leicester 0-0 Newcastle

Harvey Barnes has been quiet. He tries to get away on the left but Javier Manquillo slides in to stop him.

  3. Postpublished at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Burnley 0-0 West Ham

West Ham are definitely having the better chances now. Jarrod Bowen cuts in and curls one towards goal. It's deflected behind for a corner.

Miguel Almiron has to do better there. That was a good opportunity wasted.

    Burnley 0-0 West Ham

In his Footballer's Football Podcast this week, West Ham's Michail Antonio said the trip to Burnley would be "an awful game".

I mean "awful" may be a stretch at this stage but this certainly isn't threatening any 'game of the season' lists.

One for the purists. Burnley sending it long, West Ham getting it wide and in there. All you need is pie and Bovril and you're practically back in the 1980s.

  6. Postpublished at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Leicester 0-0 Newcastle

Joelinton and Miguel Almiron try a one-two just outside the box and it almost comes off.

The return pass from Almiron is just too heavy. Joelinton would have been in.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Burnley 0-0 West Ham

Charlie Taylor catches Jarrod Bowen and the Burnley left-back is booked.

  8. Postpublished at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Burnley 0-0 West Ham

I think Nick Pope might have problems with his teeth or gums here. He gets some kind of padding to put in his mouth and he's going to continue.

Wayne Hennessey had been warming up in case he was needed.

  9. Hammers settling nicely...published at 14:31 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Burnley 0-0 West Ham

Here are the action areas in this Turf Moor affair for the last five minutes. You can see West Ham are enjoying much of the ball and territory at the moment. Nick Pope is certainly the busier of the two keepers and while West Ham aren't exactly laying siege to the Burnley goal, you do get the sense they're far more settled than the home side.

    Burnley 0-0 West Ham

Nick Pope punches a corner away and gets clattered by Craig Dawson in the process. Dawson's boot caught his face. The medical team are on - I think he has a cut lip.

  11. Postpublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Leicester 0-0 Newcastle

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall tries to tee up Timothy Castagne at the back post but the Newcastle goalkeeper can gather it in.

    Leicester 0-0 Newcastle

    Michael Brown
Former Man City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

The energy does not seem to be there today for Leicester. They are playing the ball around nicely but without any real purpose.

  13. Postpublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Leicester 0-0 Newcastle

Leicester are starting to see a lot more of the ball now. It's not yet burst into life this game though...

  14. Wide, cross, clear...published at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Burnley 0-0 West Ham

Burnley are relatively compact out of possession and West Ham are frequently pushing the ball wide during attacks. Right-back Vladimir Coufal has had 18 touches as he seems to be in position to deliver balls into the box. The only player on the pitch with more is left-back Arthur Masuaku, who is trying the same from the other flank.

West Ham's issue is that, so far at least, Burnley's central defenders are dealing with deliveries relatively easily.

    Burnley 0-0 West Ham

Best chance of the game. Issa Diop gets a powerful header onto a free-kick and Nick Pope stops it well.

From the corner, Michail Antonio's bouncing header goes over, but he's offside anyway.

  16. Postpublished at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Burnley 0-0 West Ham

    No shots on target yet.

England boss Gareth Southgate is watching. Don't call any of these guys up, Gareth.

  17. CLOSE!published at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Leicester 0-0 Newcastle

    How close was this!?

James Maddison puts a decent ball in and it's headed back across the goalline by Wilfred Ndidi.

Martin Dubravka may have even got a touch on it!

  18. Postpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Leicester 0-0 Newcastle

    Michael Brown
Former Man City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

You can see why that was a yellow card. The referee had no choice. Patson Daka got into a good area and drew the foul.

  19. Postpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Leicester 0-0 Newcastle

Boubakary Soumare gives it away now. It's straight to Allan Saint-Maximin but his shot is blocked.

Leicester break through James Maddison, he feeds in Patson Daka. He's brought down by Jamal Lewis, who gets a yellow card for it.

  20. Postpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Burnley 0-0 West Ham

West Ham have the ball for a minute or so, a really nice move involving most of their midfielders and forwards, and then Vladimir Coufal's cross is straight at the first man.

Said Benrahma's ambitious backheel in the box can't find Michail Antonio.
