This game is far from over but it should be. Brighton have been so dominant up until now - if it was 3-0 I think it would be done but at 2-0 Brentford think they can get something out of this.

They look dangerous between Ivan Toney and Yoane Wissa. Brighton do really need that third goal to kill this game off.

And an even better save from Robert Sahnchez as he dives at full stretch to keep out a goal bound header from Ethan Pinnock.

Shandon Baptiste has space on the edge of the area and he goes for a shot which takes a huge deflection but Sanchez somehow saves with his leg.

Brighton are starting to bite back after a good start to the second half by Brentford. Jakub Moder puts a free kick into the wall and then lashes well over from the loose ball.

Brighton are a difficult side to play against, they're so well coached and you have to give credit to Graham Potter.

They've got some really good players who are happy to just dictate the pace of the game. Then you've got those runners in behind as well - Brighton are not sticking at 2-0 they are trying to find that third goal.

Good defending by Pontus Jansson to deal with a dangerous ball into the box. Brighton have a corner but Brentford clear.

Brighton have their first attack of this half as Marc Cucurella gets down the left before playing a low ball into the box for Neal Maupay, who takes a touch but then fires wide of the upright.

An early goal back in this second half would certainly add a bit of spice.

Brentford are attacking but Brighton are coping well at the moment.

Changes for both sides at the start of the second half as Danny Welbeck comes on for his first appearance since 27 September. He replaces Leandro Trossard.

Brighton have been superb, 2-0 doesn't flatter them. It probably flatters Brentford more.

The way they have played without the ball, they swarm Brentford and give them no time at all. With the ball they have been absolutely quality with good balls coming into the box. You won't see two better goals in a game, although we have seen quite a few today.

Brighton haven't scored two goals in the first half of a Premier League game since their first home game of the season, when they beat Watford 2-0.

They are looking good to record another win here.

Christian Norgaard is booked as he attempts to pull back Alexis Mac Allister, who makes a bit of a meal of it but there's no doubt it is a free kick.

Leandro Trossard's attempt for a third before the break is straight at the keeper.

2-0 pretty much sums up the first half, 1-0 wouldn't be enough. I think that may have put the game to bed but we'll have to see how Brentford react to that.

Brighton have been superb with and without the ball in the last 20 minutes. The ball just falls to Neal Maupay 20 yards out, he takes the first touch and almost side foots it with the pace of a really good strike. Top corner, my goodness me. Alvaro Fernandez has no chance, no keeper in the world is stopping that. We've seen two fantastic goals.
