Chelsea's title challenge has had a bit of a wobble of late with back-to-back draws in their last two Premier League games, so they will be keen to get back to winning ways today.

The good news is they have not lost outside of London on Boxing Day since a 2-0 defeat at Notts County in 1991.

Saqub Sheikh: Another impressive result and performance by Arsenal against a weak Norwich side. Top 4 is looking a real possibility. However the league table is slightly false as teams below have games in hand

Greg Houlton: Skipp has completely controlled tempo again today. Becoming a very good player.

    Man City 6-3 Leicester

    Manchester City

Manchester City scorer Raheem Sterling: "The manager warned us at half-time. Leicester conceded four in the first half but every time they attacked, they created chances.

"It's disappointing. We just had to control the game. It was slick football. At 4-0 up you have to kill the game. Leicester have some really good players. They didn't get disheartened and kept going. Credit to them."

  5. 'Each game we are improving'published at 16:58 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2021

    Tottenham 3-0 Crystal Palace

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham forward Lucas Moura: “Very nice. I’m very happy. It was a special day for me and my family. A very important three points. It was a solid performance. Each game we are improving. We just need to keep going this way.

"It was a nice goal and a nice ball from Emerson [Royal] as well."

On winning the ball back quickly: “Every game we are improving this point. When we try to recover the ball back quickly we have quick players up front that can cause problems.

“It is not bad [league position]. There are a lot of games to play. We are taking it step by step and game by game and working hard. If we keep going this way we can think about big things."

Last chance saloon for West Ham as Andriy Yarmolenko does well to keep the ball in but it's bundled out further along and Kyle Walker-Pieters is booked for time wasting on the throw in.

It was a wonderful game with some great goals but if I was Maddison or Iheanacho I would go into that dressing room and say 'how do we sort this out because it is killing us?' because at set pieces they are one of the poorest in the Premier League.

If West Ham fail to get an equaliser against Southampton, then this win will take Spurs up to fifth.

Palace, without manager Patrick Vieira because of Covid-19 and a number of squad players as well, never looked like getting anything, especially after Wilfried Zaha got himself sent off for two bookable offences in the first half.
