This is also the fourth time this season City have not had a shot on target in the first half of a Premier League match.

This happened four times in the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons combined.

A decent game of football. The home fans are really enjoying themselves! Manchester City have work to do.

What a run! Gabriel Martinelli almost scores one of the goals of the season.

He flicks it past Joao Cancelo, beats Ruben Dias, Cancelo gets back and pushes him wide but Martinelli squeezes a shot in which beats Ederson and rolls inches past the far post!

Martin Odegaard whips it in but it's just over Takehiro Tomiyasu and has too much pace for Gabriel.

It was teasing though.

Bukayo Saka is caught by Rodri and as he weaves down the right. The assistant referee waves his flag and Arsenal have a free-kick in a decent position.

Gabriel Martinelli cuts onto his right foot and curls it towards the top right corner. It's inches away! Decent effort!

Gabriel Jesus has space in the middle, he slides it through to Kevin de Bruyne but the midfielder is just offside and he knows it.

That was dangerous. If Jesus had poked it through a second earlier...

Arsenal have been unbelievable. They've got a good shape, discipline and they aren't chasing Man City around. They deserve that goal and if they can can get to half time they'll be delighted.

Riyad Mahrez thinks he's being held back by Thomas Partey in the box when it's curled in by Gabriel Jesus but the referee is having none of it.

Kevin de Bruyne tries to find Gabriel Jesus at the other end but it's an easy one for Aaron Ramsdale.

Here come Arsenal again. Granit Xhaka links up with Alexandre Lacazette but Martin Odegaard can't cut in from the left.

It's curled in by Kieran Tierney eventually but Ederson collects it comfortably.
