    Today's game between Leicester City and Norwich City has been postponed due to a number of positive Covid cases as well as injuries within the visiting playing squad.

    The Premier League Board said it accepted Norwich's request to postpone the fixture because they did not have enough players to fulfil the game.

    Newcastle United's Premier League match away to Southampton on Sunday has also been postponed because of Covid-19 cases and injuries in the Magpies squad.

    Newcastle's match at Everton was postponed on Thursday after the club asked for the game to be called off.

    And Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is uncertain whether his side's match at Chelsea on Sunday will go ahead as the club await PCR test results.

    Watford's leading scorer Emmanuel Dennis is available to face Tottenham, and throughout January, as he will not play in the Africa Cup of Nations.

    Mbete, 18, is a promising English defender, while Kayky is an 18-year-old Brazilian forward who joined from Fluminese in the summer.

    Kayky was an unused substitute against Leicester on Boxing Day but this is Mbete's first time in a Premier League matchday squad for City.

    Rodri comes in for Fernandinho in midfield, while Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez replace Jack Grealish and Phil Foden, who is not in the squad.

    Kyle Walker also returns on the bench for City.

    Both clubs have faced a difficult week.

    Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is isolating after testing positive for Covid.

    Assistants Albert Stuivenberg and and Steve Round will lead the team today.

    It is the second time Arteta has had Covid, while Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard and Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira missed matches over the Christmas period following positive tests.

    Arsenal trio Takehiro Tomiyasu, Cedric Soares and Callum Chambers also missed the win at Norwich because of positive tests.

    Meanwhile, Joao Cancelo will be part of Manchester City's squad despite being injured in a robbery on Thursday.

    The full-back suffered cuts to the face after attempting to fight off a gang of four intruders at his home.
