    Liverpool have just confirmed that their boss Jurgen Klopp has recorded a suspected positive test for Covid and therefore is isolating and will not be at the game tomorrow against Chelsea.

    Klopp is one of four Reds staff members to record a positive test since yesterday. This is in addition to three players who also tested positive since the team's last match - the 1-0 loss at Leicester on 28 December.

    Pep Lijnders will be in charge of the team for the game at Chelsea.

    Tom Wadsworth: I still don't understand why VAR only shows the referee one angle of these situations on the touchline. From behind Silva it's suspect but from the reverse he's halfway down then stiffens up for the "foul" as his shirt tightens. Not convinced.
