Don't know about you, but as neutral I am living for this Jonas Eidevall-Emma Hayes rivalry.

Arsenal

Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall, speaking on BBC Two:

"I was pretty pleased with the first half from a structural point of view. We needed to change some details in terms of how we could attack the box more efficiently. The players did brilliantly in the second half. We knew they would defend with a lot of players in the penalty area.

"It is a bit surreal, to be honest [going to Wembley]. You could not wish for anything better. We get to compete so early on for a title. It is fantastic.

"I couldn't ask for a better player and staff group. A lot of the formations were there when I came in the summer so I have not had to build anything new. I am building on something exciting that was already good. We cannot forget that last spring had very good results in the league. I am lucky to work with so many fantastic players. And we had talented players missing tonight.

"I hope people would be afraid of playing us so I am not liking it at all [that Chelsea boss Emma Hayes wanted to play Arsenal]."

Arsenal

Arsenal captain Kim Little speaking on BBC Two:

"It's great to be going back to Wembley, what an honour.

"It was a professional performance, we've only had two days training after the international break.

"The manager was calm at half-time, [it was] surprising really.

"Then I scored and we got another, after that we were in control.

"The team is playing really well, we've got a lot of momentum going in both attack and defence. We can't wait for the final."

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton boss Hope Powell speaking on BBC Two:

"We had a go, first half we were better than we were in the second.

"But they're a great side.

"I'm really proud with the way we committed ourselves. But we were just beaten by the better team.

"We said if we could make it 0-0 at half-time we were in the game. At half-time we really thought we were in with a chance to win.

"This is a lesson, we want to be able to compete against the likes of Arsenal. Those are the standards we're trying to reach."

Arsenal

Arsenal goalscorer Beth Mead speaking on BBC Two:

"A great team performance. He have ourselves a trip to Wembley and a chance to win a trophy.

"We got frustrated in the first half but we know we have the quality to create more chances. That's what we did in the second half.

"In the past I've been disappointed, with the Olympics selection. I got my head down in preseason and have worked really hard. I'm doing well at the moment and am proving it on the pitch."

Beth Mead stepped it up a gear, so did Kim Little. The connections, and they were closer and quicker. Brighton couldn't get close. They could bring on class too to just change the way they play.

It went to script for Hope Powell in the first half. Brighton are a good club, with backing from the men's team. They have the perfect manager to develop the project.

Arsenal kicked it up a gear in the second half. The goals came thick and fast. Brighton weren't up to the task and gave them just a little bit too much time in the box. They will be proud about the first-half but they couldn't keep up.

Fair play to Brighton.

They matched the league-leaders for 45 minutes.

In the end, Arsenal's quality shone through.

They did really well in the first half in terms of managing the game. They knew when they increased the intensity it would result in goals. Credit to Brighton, they set out their stall to frustrated. But they ran out legs. Arsenal showed their quality. It was comfortable in the end. A team reflects the manager on the pitch. We will see later in the season how they fare against the better teams later in the season.
