    Red Army...

    ...Red Army.

The Arsenal fans have been noisy throughout this first half.

    Five minutes until the break.

Got to admit, I didn't think Brighton would be holding the 14-time winners at this stage.

They've been superb at the back.

And now Brighton go on to the attack as Aileen Whelan fires one over.

End-to-end in the last five minutes, this doesn't feel very 0-0.

Talk about bodies on the line. Victoria Williams loves to defend. As a centre-back you need to make sure you protect your goalkeeper. She gets back on the line and heads it away. If you are going to win games like this you need to have a bit of luck go your way.

    OFF THE LINE!

Beth Mead's cross is met by a looping Nikita Parris header which Brighton defender Victoria Williams somehow manages to head off the line.

Seagulls keeper Megan Walsh was well-beaten.

    Arsenal 0-0 Brighton

Another Arsenal attack starts with a ball over the top to Beth Mead, but this move ends quickly thanks to an offside flag.

Brighton will be very happy with their performance so far.

They've kept a ruthless Arsenal side quiet.

    Arsenal 0-0 Brighton

A rare lull in this match.

Brighton have a spell with the ball but soon give it away.

Was that touch strong enough to give a pen though?

    It's a tricky one.

    Arsenal 0-0 Brighton

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on BBC Two

She didn't look happy with the challenge after having that shot. It's a great touch inside but a challenge from behind just caught her.

Straight down the other end and Arsenal's Beth Mead fires over from just inside the box.

She goes down clutching her foot, was she caught as she hit it?

    Referee says no.

    Arsenal 0-0 Brighton

A rare attack for Brighton, but nobody's up there to support Danielle Carter and the move fizzles out.

Green's back on the pitch and seems to be moving fine.

Arsenal are finding it too easy in midfield to spray passes. Ford maybe had too much contact on her header. It is the warning to Brighton that if they commit too many bodies up the field Arsenal are more than happy to punish.

    Carbon copy.

Nikita Paris is the latest to head wide from a Kim Little cross

When will Arsenal put one away?

Meanwhile, Brighton's Kayleigh Green is down getting treatment.

    Close again!

Kim Little does superbly on the right, beating her marker before whipping in a pacey cross.

Foord is first to the ball but her header is narrowly off target.

A good effort from the forward. That ball came at her fast.

Caitlin Foord scored two goals against Tottenham in the last round.

She was so clinical that day. This time round though she snatched at her chance.

A great save. A fantastic recovery. You usually see Caitlin Foord put them away there but that is the value of a good goalkeeper.

  17. CLOSE!published at 21 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Brighton

Best chance of the game so far as Caitlin Foord picks the pocket of a defender before firing a shot into keeper Megan Walsh's body.

Should be 1-0 to the Arsenal.

  18. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Brighton

That point hasn't come yet though as Arsenal's Nikita Paris is the latest to fire a shot off target.

When you come to a game like this as Brighton you break it down into sections. You get through the first 20 minutes and see where you go from there. At some point you can get possession and try to turn Arsenal around.

This is an attack vs defence drill now.

You know the one where the defenders win if you cross the halfway line?

In the last five minutes it's been 0-0 in that drill too. Brighton haven't got the ball into Arsenal's half for a long time.
