NickWalker200: We can’t rely on Kane giving 9/10 performances every week. Conte needs financial backing if top 4 is a hope for Spurs

Brownie977: I feel sorry for Harry Kane. He is so much better than everyone else on that Spurs team.

MaaxKu: Why bother comparing teams like Spurs with Chelsea, of course there is a huge gap in quality when one spends an absolute fortune on players and the other doesn't.. Dodgy VAR decisions aside, how can you call the Premier league a competition?

Tottenham haven't given this up yet and you wouldn't expect them to with the size of the game.

Thomas Tuchel was critical of his players in the second Carabao Cup semi-final about allowing Tottenham back into the game and they're slowly slipping into that trap here, so some of the Chelsea players are just reminding each other of that in these final minutes.

When Tottenham do win the ball back they are turning it over far too easily. Chelsea are completely dominant.

Oooh. It's a good idea from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg but he just overhits a pass to Matt Doherty, who would have been in. It came from a Hakim Ziyech backheel near his own box.

    Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham

    Matthew Upson

Chelsea are so on top at the moment. They're anticipating the game a lot better than Tottenham and there has been a noticeable shift.

Spurs are looking flat, there's a lack of ideas and conviction whereas Chelsea are the opposite. They look rampant at the moment, they're reading the play, taking gambles high up the pitch and are very much in control of this game.
