Quote MessageReally good play from Adams and then Patterson's first touch was positive too. It's been a positive overall start from Scotland but they'll want to get that first goal to just take the edge off.

Quote MessageIt's a fantastic ball from Andy Robertson. It was awfully tight. Regardless of that, it's been a very positive start.

Really tidy finish that by Adams.
He feinted inside and tucked it away well. Might have been offside but he will take confidence from it.

Scotland boss Steve Clarke tells Sky Sports: "I think we just have to look to the recent game at Hampden against them where they made it a tough night for us. They were organised and disciplined. They’re at home tonight too and will want to finish their campaign on a high.
[On the move away from two up top]: "We’ve worked on it this week in training and it’s a system that can work for us. With Lyndon [Dykes] suspended, it was a chance to do it.
"Both Stuart [Armstrong] and John [McGinn] can give us goals and Che [Adams] can give us pace up there too. It’s just a little tweak, nothing too dramatic."

Lyndon Dykes will miss tonight's game through suspension, but the big man's commitment can't be questioned after Steve Clarke had to talk the striker out of flying to Moldova to watch the lads.
"I had to persuade Lyndon it was a bad idea," Clarke said. "He phoned us up and said he wanted to fly to Moldova just to watch the game.
"He was prepared to get on a plane for three hours to watch the team and then fly back with the team to Edinburgh. It shows you the level of commitment I have got from the boys in the squad."
It's now only fair that someone gets big Lyndon round to their gaff or at least to the pub to watch the game. Who's volunteering?

Moldova v Scotland (17:00)
Ranked 181st in the world, Moldova sit at the bottom of Group F with their sole point from eight matches coming from a 1-1 draw at home to the Faroe Islands.
They lost four goals to Denmark and Israel at the Zimbru Stadium, while Austria needed a stoppage-time strike to wrap up a 2-0 success in Chisinau.
At Hampden in September, Scotland could not add to an early Lyndon Dykes tap-in, with several good chances spurned.
Scotland edged out Moldova 1-0 in the meeting between the sides in September
Italian coach Roberto Bordin was appointed before the campaign and has won just one from 10, a friendly against Azerbaijan.
"They surprised me a little bit at Hampden," said Clarke. "They were quite progressive, they wanted to be on the front foot when they had the chance to go forward.
"They defended well, although we did create enough chances to maybe have a more comfortable night than a 1-0. They went to Israel last month and only lost 2-1, so I think they've improved."
